It was a really lovely service yesterday, a fitting tribute to Rich. Pleasure to meet Gabriel and Issac too, fine young men and easy to see why Rich was so proud of them.

Dearest Richard,
Our thoughts are with you today, although not just this day, but for your peaceful journey to heaven. We all hope that you can find serenity in whatever you do, for example watching quality football on amazing TV-screens, in the most comfortable football environment, whilst sharing the most delicious football snacks and beverages that you have ever experienced. And whilst doing this, you are not lonely, on the contrary, you get to feel love from all around you, together with all our near and dear who left us too early, but are all watching over us.
Tonight we will light a candle for you, raise a glass and express gratitude for being able to get to know you.
I will giggle at the fact that you were equally as frightened as me, if not more, when we went to the haunted house at Grönalund, summer 1998 (it was the first time I got to meet you after Annika brought you to meet her loving family here in Sweden). If it wasn’t for Annika, I think we would have frozen of fear. I will cherish the canoe trip which Annika, you and I attempted on the small river next to Djurgården (note to us all, one needs to paddle on both sides of the canoe if one wants the canoe to travel straight), and I will always feel gratitude towards your generosity together with Annika during my visits to London.
You have left a hole in all of our hearts, but you have given us all so much more over the years!

Rugby Tour in 2014 with Sidcup Rugby Club
We met at NCT, turns out Richard and Annika lived just round the corner, our kids were in the same class at school and our families became close. Richard would always say to my daughter "you're my girl you are" as he gave her a big hug.... one of a kind
Matt and Russ stag do going racing - we won big and enjoyed the day - one of many, many great memories. :)
Rich was a leader and I am lucky to have called him a friend. We shared great laugh’s over the years we knew each other. Since his passing many I have spoken to agree some of our best years and lasting friendships were brought together working for Rich.
