Brian has always been there for me, and it is now that I realise this most. He was an incredible uncle, with whom some of my favourite memories will be cherished. Whilst we may not have spoke as much since I grew up, he was always there and the life of the party whenever we did get together. Still can't believe he is gone.

There are not enough words to express our thanks for everything Brian did for us. He was our neighbour ,but, more importantly a friend.
We will miss you but will remember you always.

My most loving, kind, generous, romantic, supportive husband. I really don’t know what I’m supposed to do without you. All ours dreams and plans wiped out forever. I will do my best to carry on with some of these and you will be with me in my heart all the way. Goodnight, sweet dreams, love you xxxxxxxxxx

There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t miss your guidance, support or humour. The times of celebration and commiseration that come from working together with the occasional wind up are so missed. You gave your time and support to anyone that needed it with grace and humility. Through darkness and light, you remained your usual generous and supportive self. Sleep tight, boss man!

A most wonderful man with a huge heart, who lived life to the full, who loved and gave with such generosity so much to so many. Brian, you will be missed so so much by all, but leave such cherished and happy memories to sustain us. Goodbye brother and best friend. ❤️❤️

  • We joked that we were not related, we became Thing 1 and Thing 2. However, you were like a brother to me Thing 2. Thank you for all the laughter, for the countless happy memories, for the endless topping up of my wine glass, for your friendship, for getting me stuck in a bog on a walk, for the good times we had on our holidays, for all your advice! You will be missed so, so much. Sleep tight Thing 2 xx Love Thing 1 xx
