Meirion Lewis (1 Aug 1948 - 23 Nov 2022)

From the first time I attended choir rehearsal, Mei made me feel welcome. He helped me settle in and become a better singer. For the last five and a half years, Mei has been next to me at both rehearsals and concerts. A wonderful, generous man who was never happier than when singing or indeed feeding the masses from behind a BBQ. Thanks for all you did for Honley Male Voice Choir, and for being my friend. We were all touched by your presence and are better because of that. Sincere condolences to Barbara and the family.

So saddened to hear about the passing of Meirion! He was so lovely and warm at the Honley MVC concerts I sang at! My condolences to all his family! Rest in peace!
