On 8th November 2022, at his home in Mirfield, aged 73 years, Alan, much loved husband of Christine, dearly loved dad of Janine and Cheryl, dear father in law of Chris and Rob, proud and loving grandad of Cameron, Sophie, Millie, Hannah and Faye, a dear brother, brother in law and uncle.
Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Monday 5th December 2022 at 11.15am. Friends and family please gather at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in Alan’s memory may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of the Yorkshire Cancer Research fund.

We were greatly blessed to have had Alan as a neighbour. Approachable, friendly, loved his gardens - especially liked sitting out on the bench in the front garden to take in the warmth and the sunshine - made sure the birds were well fed, and spoke fondly of favourite holiday destination. We are aware that he missed his dear wife greatly - always having flowers in the window in her memory - and hope the family are comforted in the knowledge that they are now re-united.
