In loving memory of Paul Winkworth, my wonderful gentle Husband, who sadly passed away on 31st October 2022.
From the moment Paul & I met, we knew that we were meant to be together. We'd been together ever since. All our friends & family used to say that we were joined at the hip as we did everything together.
He was a marvelous husband, son, father, stepfather, grandfather, nephew & friend.
Reading some of the comments on Facebook from work colleagues, students, friends & family he was genuinely loved by everyone, and will be very much missed.

I will miss Paul every second, of every day.

A light went out on Earth for me
The day we said goodbye
And on that day a star was born,
The brightest in the sky
Reaching through the darkness
With its rays of purest white
Lighting up the Heavens
As it once lit up my life
With beams of love to heal
The broken heart you left behind
Where always in my memory
Your lovely star will shine

Donations or flowers will be accepted, it is entirely up to you.
The Wake will be at Netley Social Club, Station Road, Netley after the funeral.

I’ve just stumbled across this. Paul was an amazing tutor, an outstanding and talented modelmaker, a devoted father and husband and a very good friend.

So sad to hear of his passing. Paul taught me so much and was such a positive influence in my life. I will never forget him.

All my love goes to the family. X

It was an honour to have known and worked with Paul, he was an inspiration to so many young people. I will always remember Paul as a quite gentleman with a great sense of humour. Paul was always complimentary to others but rarely to himself, will be greatly missed. Sadly I was unable to make the funeral due to illness, but my thoughts were with him and his family.

RIP

I was lucky enough to have Paul as my tutor and count him as a friend.
He was a very positive influence in my life and i will always remember him for his calm character quick and very dry sence of humour and wry smile. Especially when shoehorning references to episodes of startreck into every lesson in order to explain an electrical theory concept (much to the amusement of the class).
We were all very fond of Paul.
Live long and prosper mate x

You will always be a well loved member of our extended family, dear friend. As Francis Thomas Mould requested "say my name once in a while, and then I will never be forgotten" So Paul Winkworth I raise my glass ("orange juice!) TO YOU BOTH. My love to Elaine, from another wife who was "joined at the hip" with her husband. The more you love, the greater the grief. God Bless.
