In loving memory of John William Finnis who sadly passed away on 4th November 2022
John was a kind and gentle person who loved his family dearly. John had a love of the country side and all animals. He worked for about 25 years on farms and then joined British Rail as a Train Guard until he retired. John enjoyed travelling with his wife Ann across Europe and in the UK.

John was qite simply the best Dad anyone could have. Rest in peace.

I sent my £50 donation directly to the Funeral Director as I do not have Apple Pay.

  • It is still so hard to believe you have gone, even thought I sat and held your hand for 3 days and talked to you until the end as I had promised. In time I will look back on our memories and smile but for now I just feel sad and miss you so very much. You were the most wonderful Dad and thank you for being there for me over the years. Sleep tight and hopefully you are runited with Angela.I will miss your forever. All my Love Sheila your youngest daughter.
