A hero, a loving father, a guiding light, a brother, a son and friend to all.
Andy loved to be in open spaces surrounded by the elements, he loved fishing, and a wide range of music from classical to the proclaimers to mcr. Over his life he valued experience over materialistic objects. He enjoyed painting and watching Bob Ross. Watching old tv shows at night like, Only fools and horses, M.A.S.H and Red Dwarf. Spontaneous visits with his children to the cinema. He was a dedicated, selfless family man. Each Christmas he would sit watching a Christmas carol his favourite being the Albert finny version. His sense of humour was most definitely off beat and dark and was one of the things people came to love about him. He taught his children to be strong in the face of adversity and smile on through. He may not have used his words to say I love you but he showed it in action with all he did.

It was an honour and a privilege to have had you in my life dad. And it was an honour to have been there with Lois until the very end as we cared for you. My best friend my hero and my father . I will love you forever, sleep well Dad you beautiful soul.
