Peacefully at home, surrounded by family on October 11th, aged 97 years, Irene. A dearly loved mam and mother-in-law, cherished gran and ‘Greenie’, a dear friend of many. Family and friends please meet for service on Monday October 24th in Independent Methodist Church, South Hetton at 2:00pm, committal to follow in Durham Crematorium. By request, please wear something bright. All are welcome afterwards to the church hall for refreshments. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu kindly received for the work of the church and The Great North Children’s Hospital. A donation box will be available in the church.
