David John Wilcox sadly taken from us on 27th August 2022 after a short illness very bravely borne. Beloved husband of Tina and much-loved stepfather of Alex and Louise, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
David’s funeral will take place at Seven Hills Crematorium on Thursday 22nd September 2022 at 2.30pm.
Family flowers only please but donations if wished for 'Cats Protection' can be made via the just giving link or sent care of Andrew Bingham Independent Funeral Service.

Only met David once many years ago but clearly he was a great guy, loved and admired by all those who knew him. It was a privilege to have been able to attend the funeral.

From one of the many days we spent together at Colchester Town over a 3 year period, we always likened our jobs as putting together a model plane, getting halfway through and realising that the other half were parts for a helicopter! An impossible task!

Well what can I say, you were a great boss and an even greater friend. I will miss our chats about everything from how bad we both are at Fantasy Football, to what new games were coming out on Virtual Reality, I suppose we also did some work as well! x
