  • I should have mentioned that the other lady in the family photo is Dai's cousin Margaret.

This seems a long time ago now. Lou fancied some posh nosh, so Dai drove us for what seemed like forever - to this place! We laughed a lot. Thank you Dai. We'll miss your dry wit. Rest in peace.

  • Dai used to come and visit us in Bulgaria. We'll never forget his love of the land. He had worked for the Greenwich Parks department for many years, but his deteriorating hips eventually forced him to give up the job he loved. In Bulgaria's more temperate climate, his pain would disappear almost immediately - but he couldn't relax. For most of his "holidays," he would climb our trees with a chainsaw; that's when he was happiest. He would even bring his overalls and some tools with him from home! We wish Dai had spent more time with us.
