Bella died from bacterial meningitis having been perfectly well the week before. We are all utterly devastated and heartbroken. She was such a gorgeous smiley little lady. She had a huge impact on our family in her 5 months and we miss our Bella so so much.
In the final few days of her life, Bella was looked after in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit in Southampton Hospital and all the nurses and doctors were fantastic. We'd like to raise money to help support the work they do to support families in such tough situations.
We also wanted to raise money for Save the Children to ensure children are safe, healthy and learning. To know that we can help more children have the chance to smile like Bella brings us some comfort.
