In loving memory of Albert/ Spud Leonard Baker who sadly passed away on 5th July 2022 at the age of 88
Albert/ Spud was born in Camberwell on 27th February 1934.
He was the youngest of 10 children.
Albert/ Spud was happily married to Pat who we lost in 2019. He leaves behind 2 daughters, Julia and Claire and 4 grandsons, Will, Harry, Benny & Leon.
In the last few years of life Albert suffered with dementia. Crossroads care provided a great befriending service and sent somebody to visit Albert 4 hours every week.
Also, in the last 6 weeks of his life Albert /Spud attended the Heart of Kent hospice “making memories” course with daughter Claire. He thoroughly enjoyed this weekly trip and loved the fuss that the lovely nurses & volunteers made of him whilst there.
If you would like to make a donation in memory of Albert, the money raised would be split between these two wonderful charities
