Gilbert Richard Cantwell 'Gil' of Needham Market passed away peacefully at home after a long illness, bravely borne, on July 8th 2022, aged 85 years. A beloved husband to Jean, devoted father to Julie, Darrell and Paul, and a loving grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Gil's funeral will take place at West Suffolk Crematorium, St Edmunds Chapel on Monday 8th August, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Please wear some red and white. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired payable to St Elizabeth Hospice and/or MacMillan Cancer Support and/or Marie Curie can be made via Just giving above or sent care of Andrew Bingham Independent Funeral Service, The Nutshell, Milton Road South, Stowmarket, IP14 1EZ.
