In loving memory of Percy William (Bill) Westnedge who sadly passed away on 13th June 2022.

BILL led a full and active life as a farmer having set up his own farm at Norwood Hill in 1947. Throughout his life he helped many people either directly or through his roles in various farming organisations, local government, charitable work and as a magistrate. He was still taking a keen interest in the farm and attending farming events and meetings up to the last few weeks of his life.

CELEBRATION OF BILL'S LIFE: The family will hold a celebration similar to that held last year for Bill’s late wife, Ena. This will take place from 3-6pm on Sunday 24 July at Norwood Place Farm, Smalls Hill Road, Horley. RH6 0HR. Anyone who has fond memories of Bill is welcome to attend. (Click on 'Contact Obituary Owner' above if you would like further details. Thank you.)

DIRECTIONS: If you use Google maps, it is easiest to search for ‘Westnedge and Knight’. The farm entrance is on the Leigh to Charlwood Road, one mile north of the Fox Revived Pub, almost opposite Nutley Dean Farm.

DONATIONS: Bill was a great supporter of Young Farmers and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution. If you would like to make a donation to either of these charities in memory of Bill, you could do so via their Just Giving pages or a cheque passed to the family or to Stoneman Funeral Services (see below). Thank you.
