On 1st June 2022, whilst in the safe care of Fieldhead Park, Mirfield, aged 78 years, Bruce, loving and devoted husband of Judith, beloved father of Kate and Edward and father in law of Steve and Alison, dearly loved grandpa of Jack, Olivia and Holly.
Funeral service will be held at St Mary the Virgin Parish Church, Mirfield, on Thursday 30th June 2022 at 2pm followed by interment in the churchyard. Friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Bruce may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., for the benefit of Alzheimer’s Research UK in acknowledgement of his wife Judith's ongoing battle with this disease.

Thank you for all the years you have been a chorister at St Mary's and St John's churches. You will be greatly missed every Sunday by all the choir. Your unselfish kindness and loving care of Judith for many years is testament to your character. May you rest in peace and rise in glory.

Thank you for your kind donation you were one of dads very best friends and he loved his holidays to Whitby with you drinking copious amounts of whiskey.. sadly he didn’t make the one just recently which I knew he was so looking forward to . Kate x

To Kate and Edward and families i am truly saddened to hear about the passing of Bruce your dad, he was a lovely man with great sense of humour, thoughts also for your mum Judith who also is an amazing human being, i have many happy memories of them both and you and Edward growing up and our family get togethers!!
