In loving memory of Hannah Iyabode Adeyemo who sadly passed away on 7th April 2022.
Hannah was a loving mother and a selfless person who would often put the interests of others above her own.
She lived in London with her young family in the late 70s and early 80s before returning to Nigeria.
A teacher by profession, she taught in several primary schools in Ibadan, Nigeria. She is fondly remembered as an empathetic person who made lasting connections with her students.
One of her proudest achievements was helping her sister start the Amazing Grace Nursery and Primary school in the Ketu area of Lagos, Nigeria. The school has broadened opportunities for many young people and is still active today.
Hannah would later return to London where she developed an interest in charity work. She was a tireless worker who spent several years as a volunteer for the Red Cross and the British Heart Foundation in Peterborough and London.
Hannah loved to give back to her local community along with her commitments.
She was a devoted Christian who enjoyed knitting, cooking, and entertaining friends.
Hannah is survived by her children, Victor and Emmanuel.

Thank you for being a special auntie. You were selfless and loving. It is hard to believe you are gone-though too soon in our mortal eyes, but at God's perfect time. We take solace in the fact that we shall meet in the bosom of our precious Saviour. We love you, but God loves you best. Adieu. May God comfort Deji and Tola and indeed the entire family you left behind.

In all things we give thanks to almighty God! Aunty played a pivotal role in my life and the rest of my siblings. Her passing was a rude shock, but we ultimately surrender to the supremacy of God. Our prayers are with Victor and Emmanuel as they go through this different phase of life without their beloved mom. May God’s comfort be with them and all of the family. Shalom.

Adiu my dear sister Iyabo,i was shocked to hear the news of your exit,i remember your visiting to Okuku Nigeria,when you came back from London in late seventies with Deji and Tola which always attracted my friends at st michael's pry sch call them (Emo oyinbo)and our living together at Abuja was a good memory of you,sleep on dear sister till we meet to part no more.

Love you forever Aunty Iyabo. You helped me to get my first appointment as a primary school teacher in 1985 from oyo state government Nigeria which I retired as a school Head in Lagos in 2020. May your gentle soul rest in the bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Adiu Aunty mi ....

Aunty Iyabo was a sweet and loving family person who would be sorely missed by friends and family. She served her generation and others as a dedicated and thoughtful teacher and charitable person. She served as a volunteer in many charities and public-spirited organizations and events. She was gentle, selfless and self-effacing to a fault. She was also a diligent mother and caregiver. She was totally dedicated to her children who have , in turn, made her proud as a parent. May her great soul find perfect repose and balance in the higher realms; and May her family and friends find comfort and solace in the noble and persevering life she lived. In Requiescat in pace. It is hard to accept that you are no more. Your little daughter, Iyanu, omo iya Deji as she's fundly referred to, cannot still believe that mummy London has gone to glory.
We wished we could see or talk to you one more time before the sad news came to us.
Auntie, though my sister in-law you were my closest sister. We appreciate your selflessness, love, joy,happiness and help you showed to us and others.
May the Lord grant you eternal rest in His bossom. Adieu mummy London.

Your death came to me as a rude shock, but I take solace in the fact that you loved God and your family. I commiserate with Tola, Deji and our larger family on this irreparable loss. As we grieve, Faith in Christ is our comfort knowing that you die in Christ. God has given us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Adieu dear Sister!!!

You are loved always and greatly appreciated. I personally miss you.Thanks for the amazing love you showed me growing up in my teenage years just after the loss of my dad. Your unusual kindness really impacted my life. Thanks for your love.
