About Freedom Insurance

Freedom are a health insurer that have been in operation since 2003. They have won a few awards, one such from the Health Insurance Awards ceremony in 2015 taking home the Best Customer Service Award and were shortlisted in the same awards category for 2017 for best service as well as best private medical insurer. They are Head-quartered in Poole, Dorset and have a few simple aims. To offer their customers coverage against some chronic conditions that their competitors do not and to provide private health services whenever possible.

Freedom Health Insurance Options

Your Choice

This health plan policy coverage is aptly named as you can build your own healthcare plan and include the parts you feel you need. It can also work out to be a cheaper option. It is very malleable in that if you choose to be seen by the NHS first you can receive cash benefits for doing so rather than taking the offerings for the private route. On top of this you can select Faster Treatment, Cancer Cover, Psychiatric Cover and choose when diagnostics / tests and treatment take place and at any hospital in the UK or across the world.

Health can be a worry when a diagnosis comes through and the last thing you need think about is money. Which is why a medical insurance plan such as this Elite package can give you peace of mind. It differs from Your Choice in that while it is tailored it is more about covering the immediate essentials and you bolt on the rest. So costs associated with being an inpatient and day patient are covered with key out patient coverage too. You simply add in optional Private Doctor, dental treatments and optical cover where necessary. Cancer cover is included as is a list of hospitals and all bills are settled directly meaning stress free too.

A great many people choose to work away from the place they were born, either forever or for short and long periods of time. Some of these don't wish to rely on local free healthcare or pay at source programmes so elect for UK health coverage that reaches far and wide no matter which country you are in. This is travel insurance that is bespoke to the country or countries you reside in throughout the year. It includes everything from in and out patient to diagnostics and treatment and the highly attractive (monumentally expensive) repatriation should all go wrong. It can also cover pre-existing conditions and a variety of chronic illnesses.

What's covered in The Freedom Health Insurance Plan?

The great thing about all of freedom's health plan packages is they can pay the health provider directly, leaving you only the cash back from what remains. Some aspects may consider pre existing conditions though mainly focuses on moratorium and full medical underwriting.

How To Apply For A Freedom Quote:

For a quick private health insurance quote you can apply online with personal details and they will call you back straight away or a time more convenient for you and your family. Basic cover can be arranged quickly but more comprehensive packages involve underwriting and taking into account current conditions and medical history.
