Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

The whole team were brilliant. They helped us to plan a really personal funeral for our father with some unusual features.then on the day itself the Director made sure everything went like clockwork, even when we decided to walk to the grave rather than go in the car.
They couldn't have been more helpful and supportive.

The Funeral Receptionists did well for us, they were friendly and helpful.

One point of consideration, we did have to contact the office a couple of times despite the fact that the office were to contact us.

Otherwise you would have had 5 Stars - Excellent.

I used the Worcester branch of the Co op for the funeral of my late uncle in December and was so impressed with the fantastic service they gave me from beginning to end and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who is also in the unfortunate position of having to arrange a loved ones funeral.

We received good service
Professional and friendly
I mostly dealt with Gareth who made sad time for family run smoothly
Even when we changed our mind about something
That was no problem
All I spoke with at CF in worcester were polite and helpful
Tracey fellows (I know she doesn’t work at CF) who conducted the service for my father did an excellent job in catching the essence of my father
