The service provided was amazing and so respectful, couldn't ask for anything better than what we received also the care they provided for my mother while she was in their care was out of this world and I can't be more thankful for them looking after her as good as they did, I also am very grateful for their patience and support throughout the whole process.

I partnered with my cousin ( Iris' daughter) who lives in Portugal and suffers with chronic illnesses. Chamberlains were initially selected on their empathy, speed of response, attention to detail, fairness of price and, most of all their professionalism. Speaks volumes of selecting a small, independent family run business compared to a number of other organisations which were part of a larger group and who adopted a clinical, take it or leave it approach.

My Aunt had specific requests for her cremation/funeral service which were 'outside' the norms of a traditional service. Gary Lewis and his team worked with us to find solutions to meet my Aunts requests - some he had never encountered before. He and his team did this by actively listening and working with us to find the right solution in a timely, empathetic and customer-first orientation. We felt important, and getting it right was indeed right.

As my cousin could not attend the cremation service in person and because a number of my Aunts former neighbours in Wales could not travel to the service we added the 'webcast' option. Again, specific 'outside' the norm requests were made of Gary and the team and once again solutions were found.

The service itself was a true celebration of my Aunt's life and people commented how they left uplifted afterwards.

Later, Gary and the team organised the burial of her ashes with those of my Uncle (which had been kept in safe keeping by Chamberlains). Unfortunately I contracted covid just before the burial date - but Gary and his team carried on with the arrangements and delivered a personal and professional occasion. Again a number of attendees commented on their quality and caring, professional approach.

Chamberlains delivered way above our expectations, Thank you to Gary and his team.

I was so impressed by their service that I am in the process of preparing funeral care plans with Chamberlains for my wife and myself, hoping the event is some way away!.

I cannot pay them a greater compliment than trusting them with our final journeys.

My sisters,brother and myself cannot thank Chamberlain's funeral directors enough for showing us great empathy and such a caring approach as we were arranging our late moms funeral. From the minute we sat with Gary we felt at ease as he made such a difficult process feel not so daunting as we were new to everything that was about to happen. From the first meeting and up until the day of our moms funeral Gary kept us in the loop always showing a caring attitude at this sad part of our lives. I cannot recommend them enough as they really care about the families and ensured that we were not alone through the journey, from helping us to choose everything and not pressurising us to make any quick decisions so as to make our moms funeral as special and meaningful to us as we could possibly hope for it to be. If anyone is looking for a caring funeral directors we all strongly recommend Chamberlain's as when you have such a sad occasion to plan for Chamberlain's will truly put everything into perspective and try and make the process a little easier for everyone. Our late moms funeral was planned to perfection for her and it was all down to the caring and patience of Chamberlain's.

I cannot put fully into words how wonderful Chamberlains are at such a heartbreaking/difficult time of your life. The support,time,effort,constant understanding of your hurt and your wishes are always at the forfront of Gary and his team. I have recommend Gary more times than I would like to say I've ever wanted too. But they have never let us down! For me, my family & friends who have all seen/or been a part of what Chamberlains do have all said they will not go anywhere else now.
I'm not sure how Gary does it, but he is a true angel at the time you need it the most. If I could pick more stars for this review I would.

The service we received from Gary and the team from Chamberlains was impeccable. Our family has used Chamberlins twice and I have also attended funeral’s of close friends undertaken by Chamberlain’s. I would recommend them 100%.

We couldn’t have asked for a better funeral for my mom. Chamberlains went above and beyond whilst organising, during and even after my mom’s funeral. Gary and Jan were always happy to assist and helped us so much during such a difficult time. 

I am so grateful for how wonderful my moms celebration of life was in August. She would have loved it.

We recently used the services of Chamberlains for our mum’s funeral.  Gary and his team were extremely kind, caring and professional. Nothing was an inconvenience to Gary and we want to thank him for the excellent job that he did during this very sad time for us.

I couldn't of asked for a better service for my mom Gary went out his way to make us sure everything was how we wanted it
Even after the funeral he helped me with a vase even took it to the cemetery for me . Just on behalf of myself and my family we are so grateful to chamberlain's for the service I received at the most awful time of loosing my mom Dawn Wilkes .

From the very first phone call Gary made us feel totally at ease, and made the awful process of dealing with the funeral of our much loved husband, father & grandad much more bearable for us all as a family. Professional, courteous and a constant calming influence every time we made contact with anyone at Chamberlain’s, we were made to feel like part of a bigger family and we have no doubt that Gary made the cremation service as well received as it was with family and friends alike due to his warmth and compassion at a truly heartbreaking time in our lives.

As a family it is hard to put into words how difficult it is dealing with the death of someone so close, but at each step / turn Chamberlain’s dealt with everything swiftly and put our minds at rest so we could focus on other things. Gary even went to the trouble of picking our beloved Alan up from the hospital ASAP so he was within their premises and placed in the ‘Chapel of rest’, which in turn bought him closer to his birthplace which meant so much to us.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Chamberlain’s to anyone, it’s not something any of us want to go through but rest assured you’re in good hands with Gary and his fellow staff members. The service beforehand and on the day itself was second to none and they will go out of their way to make it the best send off possible. Kind, caring, heartfelt and thoughtful is just what you need at a difficult time and Gary and his team go above and beyond that in our opinion.

Thank you all once again for your services, truly very impressed and we still all feel we can class you as a friend of the family, hope this review affords you many more customers as you truly do deserve all the praise you receive. It’s not often guests at a funeral will comment after about the service, but literally everyone there felt compelled to tell us and Gary how wonderfully well it went, you did Alan proud and we’ll never be able to thank you enough.

When we found out that my dear brother didn't have long i wondered who would look after him when he fell asleep? When he did fall asleep i was over the moon to know he was going to Chamberlains, Gary and his team did a great job looking after us as a grieving family and on the day we laid our brother to rest we were very pleased with everything they did for us. I would recommend Chamberlains to anyone, although we are sad, they made it a very special time for us and the prices are very good.

Chamberlains funeral directors are very professional, kind and caring. The company is small, giving a very personal service. They treated my father with dignity and respect. The service performed by Gary was the perfect balance of memories and comfort. He took all the stress out of the funeral arrangements.

Where do I start… 
It’s daunting planning a funeral there’s so much to think about and it’s hard when your grieving to even think straight. 
From the moment I made the first call to Chamberlains’s I knew I didn’t have to look any further. 
Gary is the nicest person I’ve met, dedicated to his role and it’s plain to see that he genuinely cares not just for you but your loved one. 
It’s comforting to know everything is handled for you from start to finish. Jan is a lovely lady and she helped organise the relevant documentation so there’s nothing for you to worry about. 
Chamberlains are different they go the extra mile so please look no further because you won’t find anyone better.
I cannot express enough gratitude to them. Everyone who came to the crematorium spoke so highly of the service Gary gave. 
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for fulfilling Harry’s final wishes. You have been a blessing.

Fully recommend this funeral directors, they were amazing from start to finish.  Cheaper than the main stream funeral directors for the same if not better service.  Extra costs ie flowers, order of service we also priced competitively and quality was beautiful.   It was such a comfort to know that they would lead me through the day of the funeral and were by my side throughout.  If needed, in the future, I would 100% use them again.
