My mother’s funeral took place during covid restrictions but they made it perfect .

Well what can I say. It was the first funeral I have ever had to arrange and a hard one as it was my mother's. I was petrified as you can imagine. I needn't have worried. Firstly I met Jan and she was lovely. She went through everything from type of service music order of service and the flowers which she even arranged. She personally picked my mom up from the hospital and called me when she had done so. She gave me bullet points regarding the eulogy and gave me a choice of a minister or their very own Gary who I chose and I'm so glad I did. A couple of days later Gary called me and I went up to meet him with to discuss the service with my daughter. He was very empathetic and we chatted about my mom . He was very interested in what I wrote in the eulogy which he said was lovely written and would not have to change anything. We felt so welcome and calm . Chamberlains emailed everything over from the layout of the order of service and finished eulogy slightly tweaked. Gary also got in touch with the tenants association where she lived and did a dummy run. On the day he and the driver picked us up and joined the hearse where he escorted my mom there on. The service was delivered beautifully and everyone who attended said how wonderful Gary was. We were driven back to my moms home afterwards and chatted to him and the driver for a good ten minutes . Chamberlains made a terrible situation into an much easier and bearable one . Our family cannot thank them enough for what they did we are eternally grateful. We feel like we met them as strangers and left as friends . As long as they are there I know that if unhappiness strikes again I will turn to them one hundred percent and know I wont have to worry about a thing.

Really wish i could give more than 5stars. I have never came across a funeral directors like Chamberlains. From the moment i rang up to enquire about my brothers funeral (which is by far the hardest thing i have ever had to do) a lovely helpful lady called Jan anwered, i knew straight away this was the place to choose. I then met the manager Gary. Seriously i was blown away how nice and caring he was. You can see how passionate he is about his job. I knew then my brother was in the best hands with Chamberlains. From start to finish i can't fault this place and from the bottom of my heart i want to say a massive thank you to both Gary & Jan from me and Brendans family for everything you did for us. We 100% recommend using Chamberlains you get nothing the best x

I cannot recommend Chamberlains Funeral   directors enough they took all the stress away and made everything perfect for the funeral of my mom.
Gary was amazing and nothing was to much trouble. He made the best of the situation and his own added touches make everything seem so personal.
I would never use anyone else if I need to in the future .

Chamberlains made every effort to ensure that our Mom’s  funeral was both personal and memorable for the whole family.

At such an emotional time, Gary and his team make sure all you needs are met, nothing was too much trouble. The team is very respectful and do things with the utmost professionalism. The day of the funeral Gary and his team kept everything on track and made sure the family did not have to worry about anything. The passing of ones father is a tremendously difficult time. Gary Lewis our contact at Chamberlains was professional and understanding. He made us feel at ease and explained everything to us. He accommodated everything we asked of him and went of his way to help us a family to come to terms with our lose. Dad was looked after and prepared in a sensitive manner. We have used Chamberlain's 3 times now and wouldn't use anyone else.
Gary.. Jan. And all the team have been amazing certainly go over and beyond to help.
Very caring friendly and sincere in everything.

Gary also conducted a very touching and personal service for my dad would highly recommend.

Gary and the Chamberlains team went above and beyond in leading my sisters and I through one of the most difficult periods in our lives in arranging our Dad’s funeral. The service we received from Gary and the team was amazing. I had never arranged a funeral before and didn't have a clue where to start. Gary from the beginning made the whole process easy. Mom certainly had the send off she deserved.

I can't recommend Gary enough. A genuine and caring person who made everything so easy for me and my mum following the death of my brother. Selecting a funeral director is a difficult decision taken at what is invariably a vulnerable time. We chose to visit Chamberlains to handle the funeral of my sister in law with no prior knowledge of their capability. Within a few minutes of meeting Gary we knew we were in safe hands. All aspects of the arrangements were handled with compassion and total professionalism. Everyone who commented on the funeral expressed how impressed they were with the excellent service and respect that Chamberlains provided.
