Mortons have looked after our family for many years, and once again they were excellent. They have a special way of caring for families during the most difficult of times. Across the many years we’ve used them they have consistently maintained the highest standards. Thank you for helping us give my mother, Lynette, the beautiful send-off she deserved.

The second occasion we have had the services for family with mortonsfunerals.every aspect is compassionate yet professional. The initial visit to mortons following the passing of my dad we met with selena ,every aspect of our wishes for a fitting send off for dad we discussed and when finalised left obviously sad but reassured by the caring manner of our meeting. We arranged to have a celebrant and can highly recommend Lauren Jones who conducted dads service perfectly following much discussion and liaising with myself. On the day of the funeral mike the driver of one of the vintage Rolls Royce vehicles, again of which I would highly recommend, explianed what we needed to expect and helped my elderly mom in and out of the car.The service was just perfect and Mike then took us to our gathering at a local hotel..when I visited mortonsfunerals to collect dad's ashes the receptionist who's name i didn't get was so understanding and compassionate.A rating of ten out of ten is fully justified and thank you to all involved.

About Us
After Albert passed away in 1941, his wife Caroline took up the running of the family business until 1946 when their son Victor returned from service in the RAF. Victor maintained the high standards set by his father and continued to establish the business as one which could be relied upon to provide a level of service second to none. Victor and his wife Ivy had two sons - Grant and Miles - who were both destined to carry on the family tradition.
In 1982, as part of their development plans, Grant and Miles appointed Derek Case to assist them with the future development needs of Mortons. In the same year the Rubery office was opened, followed by the Cotteridge office some 12 years later.
By 2005 Derek Case had become Managing Director with a remit to steer Mortons in a modern and ever-changing world. His daughter, Sarah, had started working in a part-time capacity whilst completing her Law Degree. She joined in a full-time capacity when her studies were completed in 2005, thus starting another ‘family tradition’ albeit outside the original Morton family. Sarah now holds the position of Managing Director and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company.
Mortons have recently purchased alternative vehicle companies and now own a wide selection of alternative funeral vehicles, Jaguar hearses and limousines, a Rolls Royce Hearse and limousine, a Mini Traveller Hearse, Morris Minor Hearse, an Austin Van hearse, Wheelchair accessible vehicle, split screen VW Hearse and bay window VW Hearse, with even more options available soon.
Mortons continue to make investments in their staff recruitment, training, and uniforms, together with improvements to their facilities and the vehicles they use. They have recently completed a major refurbishment of all offices, and remain focused on buying ethically, and British, wherever possible.
Mortons Funeral Directors in Northfield pride themselves on a rigorous in-house training program for staff and promise that your call will always be answered by a member of the team, with a duty Funeral Director available 24 hours a day.
