Mortons have looked after our family for many years, and once again they were excellent. They have a special way of caring for families during the most difficult of times. Across the many years we’ve used them they have consistently maintained the highest standards.

The second occasion we have had the services for family with mortonsfunerals.every aspect is compassionate yet professional. The initial visit to mortons following the passing of my dad we met with selena ,every aspect of our wishes for a fitting send off for dad we discussed and when finalised left obviously sad but reassured by the caring manner of our meeting. We arranged to have a celebrant and can highly recommend Lauren Jones who conducted dads service perfectly following much discussion and liaising with myself.On the day of the funeral mike the driver of one of the vintage Rolls Royce vehicles, again of which I would highly recommend, explianed what we needed to expect and helped my elderly mom in and out of the car.The service was just perfect and Mike then took us to our gathering at a local hotel..when I visited mortonsfunerals to collect dad's ashes the receptionist who's name i didn't get was so understanding and compassionate.A rating of ten out of ten is fully justified and thank you to all involved.

From the moment I contacted Morton’s, their service was first class, and I felt very reassured. My husband was a Priest, and had taken thousands of funeral services, and he always rated Morton’s as the best.
I felt supported throughout, and on the days ( we took my husband into Church the day before the service) of the services, Sarah ensured I knew what was happening and why, and she guided me through gently. I was especially touched to be told that two of the bearers had requested to be involved in the service for John, as they had known him. It felt so personal. The team also looked immaculate, and my family commented on this. Overall, and in the circumstances, I could not have asked for better service, and would not hesitate to recommend Morton’s to others.

Mortons have wonderfully high standards and are so helpful. Not only in the preparation and guiding us through the process and options, but on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble. The team on the day were so calm, respectful and professional. Their lead man guided us seamlessly through each step of the day. It allowed us to think of mum, and play our part in her send off, to focus on her, without having to worry any of the logistics as Mortons had that all covered. As a family we have used Mortons many times and would not hesitate to use them again.

The service provided by Mortons Funeral Directors when our mother passed away was excellent. All staff were kind and considerate and were able to offer extremely helpful advice and assistance as we made our plans. On the day of the funeral, everyone was so reverent and determined to please. The attention to detail was impeccable. Everything went totally as planned and I don't think anything could have been improved on at all.
The Order of Service booklets and memorial cards that were produced are so lovely and will be treasured by all of the family. I would highly recommend their services.

The service we received from the moment I made the initial call to Morton’s in Northfield was exceptional. At our meeting with them they were patient & understanding at was a very difficult and emotional time. Losing a loved one is a very sad & difficult time, but Mortons guided and helped us through the whole process of arranging Mum's funeral with ease. They are very professional, efficient and made sure everything went to plan and ran smoothly on the day of the funeral. We also used Mortons 10 years ago for Dad's funeral and they gave the same excellent service then. I would highly recommend Mortons as your Funeral Directors.

During a very difficult time, Selena was truly excellent in  making the arrangements for my dad’s funeral feel so easy and so personal. 

Neil, who was in attendance on the day, was a calm, respectful, and provided a supportive presence. 

All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Mortons to any family in need of a funeral director who offers such a truly personal and compassionate service.

On behalf of my husband and myself I’d like to say that our funeral director (Neil Fretwell) has made a difficult time so much more bearable. His respectful, kind, caring nature was shown from the very first meeting and continued through out. We could not have gotten through this without him. 
He has shown respect towards our Father from start to finish and it was noted by all of our guests at the funeral. The professionalism and respect shown by Neil is a testament to Morton’s, and we will, and have already referred him to other friends and family. 
It was comforting to know that such a respectful person (Neil) along with other members of Morton staff, took the time, effort and care to ensure our father was looked after whilst in their care. 
We thank Neil from the bottom of our hearts for being a true gentleman and ensuring our difficult journey was made easier.

The service we had was excellent. From our first visit there to the service and beyond the service we received was 'above and beyond the call of duty'. Mortens treated us with such kindness and gave us great support during what is a very difficult time. I would really like to thank Mike Bennett and his staff especially on the day of the Funeral.I was very moved when he and Kathyrn Day who was the Celebrant gave my partner Clair words of comfort and support just before the service and offered to give one of neighbours a lift to the wake We have used Mortons before and I would recomend them to anybody

My family used Mortons Funeral Directors in April 2020 for my late father. So impressed by the professionalism of Mortons, that following the recent death of my mother, the family asked Mortons to undertake the funeral arrangements again.
From the moment you walk in to Mortons Funeral Directors Offices in Northfield (Head Office), the whole environment gives one a sense of professionalism and purpose. Very impressive!
Greeted by a welcoming receptionist, my brother and I were met by Denise Williams the Funeral Arranger. Denise showed great empathy and went through the early stages of the funeral arrangements.
Throughout the funeral arrangements nothing was too much trouble for Denise. Highly professional and always communicating and updating me with the necessary information, including, as promised, the arrival of my mother’s body from the QE Hospital to Mortons, which was very reassuring.
On the day before my mother’s funeral, Neil telephoned me and informed me he was to lead the funeral cortege and that he wished to go through all the necessary details for the funeral. I.e. confirming the time of arrival of the cortege, the requested route to the cemetery, the order of service and chosen music and hymns. This was again very reassuring.
On the day of the funeral, Neil again explained, reassuringly, everything concerning the journey and the service and it must be said, Neil and his team were extremely smart in appearance, and with much empathy ensured our mother’s funeral service was a wonderful and memorable send-off! Thank you Denise and all at Mortons!

We found ourselves in the unbearable situation where our dad died 3 days after my mom’s funeral. I did not hesitate to call Neil, who collected Dad out of hours and from that moment on anticipated what we wanted. Morton’s created a beautiful visual tribute which everyone commented on at the funeral.

Morton's Funeral Directors have arranged both my grandparents funerals, and as a family we would highly recommend them.

Most recently regarding my Nan's funeral, they made the process as simple as possible. Right from the first phone call, when we arranged collection of her body, we found every person we dealt with at Morton's to be caring, compassionate and at all times professional.

We were able to book in a meeting with a funeral director when it suited us best. Steve was really helpful and informative, he also went to the effort of looking up the details of my grandad's funeral he had arranged in 2000 in case we wanted to mirror anything in my Nan's service. A extra special touch that really resonated with us. They helped us secure a date for my Nan's funeral and location that was special and relevant to the family.

We were kept up to date with everything and it was made really clear what decisions we needed to make and timescales involved. They accommodated multiple Chapel of Rest visits for different family members to say their goodbyes to my nan.

The day of her funeral everything seemed effortless, which is exactly what you want from a funeral directors, as the day should be about saying your goodbyes with no additional stresses. They treated her with respect and care on her final journey. It was a very fitting send off. I can't praise Morton's enough for what they have done for our family.
