Amanda handled everything with dignity and respect and every query was answered with care. On the day of the funeral the attendants and bearers conducted everything with the utmost dignity. There was nothing that could be faulted. The floral tribute was magnificent.

    My mother-in-law had left very specific and in some instances unusual instructions for her funeral service in S Warks and interment of ashes in Kent. The Funeral Arranger was very pleasant and efficient when working with me as Executor to implement those wishes. The team on the day were equally pleasant and efficient and the feedback I received from mourners was that they thought it was very good send off.

    We dealt with Amanda at the Kenilworth Branch. She was very helpfull and respectfull and helped us to carry out our mothers wishes as best we could. The office was smart and clean and welcoming. The staff were very flexible about viewings even letting a family member go in the last our before they left to take her to the funeral. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

    Our experience with Diane was very positive and professional throughout the process. We initially selected Co-operative Funeralcare for this reason. We could not fault her care and attention. Likewise the funeral celebrant, Tag, who she recommended to us was exceptional. Again, we could not have asked for more. However, the Funeral Director team on the day were not good. Firstly they arrived late. Tag had requested that they arrive 10 minutes earlier than originally planned, but as it turned out the family were still all waiting in the street beyond the time the cortege was supposed to have departed. We were getting quite distressed and were about to telephone when they finally arrived. When we got into the following car, we found that it was not clean, and then the driver pulled away whilst a door was still open and one of us was not yet properly in the car. We had to shout out. When we arrived at the crematorium we wanted to get out and greet friends (we had arranged this with Tag) but one of the FD team told us we couldn't get out yet. He was literally holding the door closed as we tried to get out. We had to very firmly tell him we WERE getting out, and he continued to complain and mutter that Helen had said that we couldn't. When the pallbearers entered the chapel it seemed like they had never done this job before. They carried the coffin in a very wobbly and undignified manner, and when they went to place it on the trestles they seemed to have no idea what to do, almost dropping it. They half pulled the material covering the trestles away as they first tried going anticlockwise and then clockwise. We stood watching in dismay, and really thought the coffin was going to end up on the floor. After this, one of the pallbearers was witnessed rushing out the back of the chapel with his head in his hands. We expected the FD team to be slick and professional, and sensitive to the family's needs, but they were anything but. Very disappointing. Thank goodness Tag was so outstanding.

    Kenilworth Co Op Funeral branch have been excellent, arranging everything with speed and efficiency. They have been very caring to the whole family, we felt well supported as a family and as individuals. A big thank you to the whole team.

    Diane was wonderful, kind, sensitive and supportive but also focused, organised and very efficient. Everything went well and completely stress free. Nothing was too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending Cooperative Funeral Care in Kenilworth

    The care was excellent. They couldn't do more for us. Diane was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience of planning a funeral was trouble free.

    Amanda and Diane, have been very understanding and sympathetic at this difficult time. And arranged everything we needed for my mom's funeral. We didn't have any problems with the funeral or at the funeral directors, would recommend them.

    We found the service of the Coop Funeralcare excellent.It all ran very smoothly and Diane and Amanda were so understanding,during our time of grief.We would also like to pay a mention to Stephen Hughes the celebrant who conducted the service at the crematorium.His professionalism throughout was impeccable and attention to detail faultless.Mick had the best send off one could wish for.     Car drivers were not very helpful and I did not like the fact that the coffin was left standing there when we left.  All the previous cremations I have attended have had the coffin slid away behind the closed cutains s we left, giving closure o he whole thing.  I o not feel that I had closure by walkin out and leaving him there.

    Thank you for your comments Christine, having checked with my colleagues I am at a loss with regard to your comment about 'car drivers not very helpful' as no of my colleagues can recall any incident or cause for concern raised by you or the family. As for your second point the reason the coffin was not placed on the catafalque, as we would normally, was your request to have the coffin on trestles closer to the family, an instruction we carried out.

    Having previously used the Kenilworth funeral care service for my fathers’ funeral 18 months ago and having been entirely satisfied with the service provided then, I did not hesitate in deciding to use them again for my husbands’ funeral. His death had been sudden and unexpected, and therefore a dreadful shock.  I can only say that Diane managed this very difficult experience for me and my family with the utmost professionalism and kindness and made what was a very difficult time for us as easy as she possibly could. She and Jill, the Celebrant, were really helpful with their suggestions for the service and took away a great deal of the stress that arranging the funeral of a dearly loved husband and father can present.  The funeral itself was handled very professionally and sensitively by everyone involved and many comments were made by those attending about what a lovely service had been provided. Once again my family and I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Diane and Jill for making this whole sad occasion as easy for us as they possibly could. They should be highly commended for their care and compassion.
