How do I find the right words...
We have used the co-op funeral care in Gateshead, through previous events in our life when they offered such a comforting and caring, professional service. We called upon them once again, this time for the sudden passing of my beloved Mam. From the minute we met Nichola and Lyndsey, they had us at ease!
They led me and my family through the whole process with empathy, compassion and patience. We chatted and celebrated my Mam's life. Nichola helped me make some difficult decisions, with no pressure and guided me through every stage.  
They were also really great to contact anytime, they always replied back in a timely manner, chatting along the way with reassuring words and comfort.

We also had the privilege of Simon Devlin leading my mams service to celebrate her life. Together, their natural ability and genuine interest led directly to my mams heart warming and authentic service.
I can't thank you all enough for adding such depth and warmth to my Mams 'Celebration of Life'

You should be extremely proud of yourselves and for the wonderful service you provide.

When I reflect and think about my Mam's service, even at times through tears and sorrow, I feel so proud and privileged to be part of such a fitting and gorgeous 'send off' for my Mam.
After all.. the only guarantee in life, is death, so 'Celebration of Life', for me, is recognition and creates a testament to our loved ones.

Nichola and team we very caring and efficient. They worked closely with me ensuring everything regarding my aunt’s funeral was exactly as she would have wanted it. I had taken out a pre paid plan for my aunt and it worked out extremely well and any additional costs were explained straight away. My aunt passed away during the Christmas period which meant doctors holidays delayed some actions like registering of death but the team were so efficient in their actions we were still able to meet the date we hoped for the funeral. I would certainly recommend them to anyone and myself and my family were very grateful for their support throughout.

The care we received was outstanding. They made a difficult time more bearable. David and his team are kind, caring and understanding.
We did ask for the curtains to remain open at the crematorium and they were closed at the end of the service. Not sure if the instruction was passed on or the reverend closed them by mistake. Just felt the need to mention this for future reference. Thank you again

My wife and myself were treated with compassion from all of the staff, from when we first phoned the Co op and announced that my mum passing away until right up  to when we were outside the crematorium getting back into the car after the cremation.
