Fabulous service

Very disappointed as wanted to have George wearing his kilt for the cremation. We advised the office of this but we were not told till several days into the process that South Lanarkshire Crematorium do not allow this but others do. We could have arranged to use another site had we been told earlier.
I went to the office in Waterside street to pick up George's ashes today and was told that he hadn't been placed in his scatter tube although there was a scatter tube in the ocean sunset pattern as we chose and picked for him. There was no reason given for this or why it had happened. Kate did suggest she could try to deal with this but was unsure and I certainly did not wish her to proceed with something out with her normal duties as George may have ended up on the floor.
During the time between George dying and his Funeral there were several different people in the office. They were all working in different ways with different levels of knowledge. Now I don't know when I will be able to bring my Husband home.
I feel very let down by your services which should have been a support instead of causing more upset that I and my Daughters should not have had to suffer.i now have to wait for another phone call to advise my husband"s ashes are ready to be picked up even they were supposed to be ready last week and it was his Birthday yesterday.

Generally very good and helpful.  Only negative point was attending a pre-booked appointment and most of that time was taken up by your rep having to deal with walk-ins.  Appointments should be given priority or have more than one person available.

Coop funeral care gave the family exactly what was needed throughout the funeral process. Comfort. Help. Understanding. A polished and professional service, mindful of the need to heed the exact wishes of the family. This included guiding them through every stage of making the arrangements for the funeral to the events on the day of the funeral. All went exceptionally well without a single hitch.
