Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

We were supported by the Radstock branch, Jennie, Stephen and the team, we paid for a silver plan but felt we got a platinum 5* +, the team were caring, sensitive, understanding and friendly. we felt Linda and the family experienced the best that could be provided. From the the very first day to arriving back home after the cremation then receiving the ashes, everyone we met or spoke to over the phone were marvellous, they gave Linda a very caring, professional and dignified service. Steve and the team were exceptional. What was a very traumatic time regarding my mother's death the team at Radstock were at all times sympathetic, kind, considerate and guided me through the options for my mother's funeral.

Couldn't be improved. Excellent service from start to finish. Very quickly picked up on my mood and matched their approach to mine. As I'd never had to arrange a funeral before, talked me through everything in a very sympathetic way and were very patient and supportive when I kept changing my mind. On the day everything ran very smoothly and as planned. Would definitely recommend.
