Having taken over the business in 2001, Stewart and Elizabeth Treharne and their team provide a personalised, dignified and caring service to families in their time of need. With their son, Daniel, now involved with the running of the business, the company continues to be a reputable and recognised brand in the local community.
They have memberships with the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), Society of Allied & Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) & British Institute of Funeral Directors (BIFD). In 2018 E.C. Thomas & Son also won Funeral Planner of the Year, South Wales Regional Award at the SAIF AGM.

They also offer a prestigious fleet of Jaguar vehicles including a hearse limousine which seats seven people, as well as a Mercedes fleet which compromises of a custom-built conveyance vehicle and estate car. They can also supply a horse drawn hearse on request.
