All the staff at Gillotts are very attentive, helpful and caring, they looked after my Mum & Dad and I couldn't have asked for more. They gave advice and listened to all my requests, everything was carried out beautifully. I highly recommend Claire and Joanne as they alway showed dignity and attention at all time. Thankyou so much. You made everything so easy at this very sad time.

My family and I cannot fault the service we received from Gillotts following the death of out beloved dad. They made the most unbearable time of our lives actually bearable - nothing was too much trouble and we were dealt with throughout the whole process with compassion and dignity. Claire was so kind, thoughtful and reassuring and Joanne led such a professional process on the actual day. All our wishes and queries were handled so well and communication was excellent. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gillotts to anyone.

The ultimate professionalism, compassion and attention to detail shown by every member of Gillotts' (from Joanne, Claire and the rest of the personnel), was flawless.
You can imagine that at the most difficult time of your life, in organising a funeral, the majority of people will be lost and trying to make sense of the whole situation is very hard.
Gillotts' take all of that away and guide you through every step with kindness and sensitivity. The vast array of options and choices we had helped us to customise my late wife's funeral in such a way that it was tailored to suit her lifestyle and personality..
On the day of the funeral, (the stage everybody dreads), was conducted with such dignity by Gillotts', I had comments later from the large number of people who attended that it was the best funeral they had attended. I appreciate it can sound like a strange comment to make on such an occasion, but it has helped on my family's journey through this difficult time of acceptance of losing my wife.
On a final note, I do know that when it is my turn to depart this earth, Gillotts' will be organising my funeral as I know the majority of the distress of organising this will be taken away from my children.

Such a warm professional approach from Joanne from the moment we walked in. We didn’t feel rushed in anyway and Joanne patiently listened to what we had to say about my Dad. There was no pushing for spending lots of money it was all our choice on what was wanted and Joanne guided us through the difficult and stressful process. It felt like they took over for us and did everything so we didn’t need to worry. Anthony on the day was Amazing and guided us as a family through the day. He was very warm, kind and very professional and we as a family really appreciated this. We would definitely recommend Gillott’s as a funeral director

Joanne, Alison and team were amazing. They listened to everything that we wanted for my Dad and nothing was too much trouble. They showed such kindness and compassion. They did my Dad proud, especially with little personal touches like writing "gone fishing" on his memorial plaque as Dad loved fishing without us even asking.
