About Us

AW Lymn's Clifton office was opened in 1990 and has a warm and welcoming ambience, with one visitation room, one family room, a reception area and cold room facilities. The premises also has off-street parking at the rear.

The funeral home is currently run by funeral director Jane Keetley, who is overseen by senior funeral director Edward Martin.

The offices are open from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, although they are also available at other times - please call the telephone number and arrange an appointment. Calls are taken 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The branch covers all of Clifton and its surroundings including Barton in Fabis, Clifton Grove, Clifton Village, East Leake, Gotham, Kingston upon Soar, Lark Hill retirement complex, Silverdale, The Meadows, Thrumpton, Wilford and beyond.

Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose manage A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service, a business founded in 1907 by Arthur W Lymn.

    From start to finish Neil was looked after with dignity and respect ,nothing was too much trouble for the people involved in the arrangements of his funeral,Joanna in particular was patient and pointed us all in the right direction with her gentle manner and etiquette I found that very comforting throughout,the drivers Rob and Dave were dignified and gracious on our last journey with Neil .
    I would certainly recommend to anyone this team of people who made a very heartbreaking time a whole lot easier

    Caring and Professional  as always, but during these strange times with coronavirus & the lockdown - they all went that extra mile - even if it was spending time to chat to me on the telephone as I felt very isolated  especially from my family ,  it helped make  this traumatic time easier to cope with.
