The staff at AW Lymm's performed amazingly in organising my Father's funeral and we were happy to leave everything in Kim's (Bulwell Office) capable hands - particularly as we are in Scotland and COVID restrictions prevented direct contact until the funeral itself. The funeral was necessarily an unusual event given the distancing regulations. The attending Lymm's personnel ensured that everyone complied to those regulations - but in a sympathetic and supportive manner. The selected celebrant was fantastic and the ability for non-attendees to participate via webcast was a tremendous boost.

Under the circumstances we are all living in at the minute our brothers last journey was perfect... from start to finish communication was delivered and arrangements made... the Ariel aeroplane delivered a brilliant message in the sky and the doves were beautiful we can not thank you enough the Hudson’s family x

A.W. Lymn’s Bulwell funeral home is based at Middleton House, the oldest building in the town, located on Main Street. The premises are named in honour of Stanley Middleton, the celebrated local writer and Booker Prize winner, and father of company director Penny Lymn Rose.
Originally established as a funeral home in 1990, Middleton House was fully renovated and extended in 2022, blending traditional character with modern facilities.
The branch is led by Funeral Director Tony Knowles, who has been part of the A.W. Lymn team for over 40 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the families we serve. He is supported by Funeral Arranger Paige Gleedwood, who has great local knowledge and is currently working towards her Certificate in Funeral Arranging and Administration.
Middleton House serves Bulwell and its surrounding areas, including Bestwood Park, Bestwood Village, Bulwell Forest, Bulwell Hall, Crabtree Farm, Heathfield and Leen Valley estates, Hempshill Vale, Heron Ridge, Highbury Vale, Sellers Wood, Snape Wood, Top Valley and beyond.

During this sad and stressful time, Lymn’s have been wonderful. With lock down and the current Corona virus situation, everything had to be done over the phone and at a distance. They were sympathetic, extremely helpful and made arranging everything as easy as possible.
On the day, Nigel Lymn Rose was excellent. He accommodated Lily’s neighbours who couldn’t attend the funeral, allowing them to view the coffin from the side of the road. He was very helpful when we were at Bramcote crematorium easing us through the requirements and restrictions.
We thank everyone involved for their kindness, compassion and assistance throughout the whole process.

Lymns were fantastic, Kim was brilliant nothing was too much trouble for her, very professional ,but friendly with it. The horses looked fantastic and behaved impeccably and the staff on the day were also excellent. A hard day was made much easier by the professionalism of the team. I can't thank them enough. I feel we did mum proud and we had a lovely celebration of her life. A massive Thank you to Lymns.

From the first meeting to sort out the arrangements we were treated with compassion. The order of service was perfect better than we had hoped for. Andrew vicar of St Mary's Bulwell the vicar organised was excellent.
The funeral was conducted with dignity, care & compassion.

Kim Nichols was brilliant and so understanding and her team was very caring.
When we came to see mum in the chapel of rest the room was so lovely and very clean.
The cars were clean and the staff richard and Neville was very caring and polite.
We would recommend a w lymn funeral directors to assist in future funerals thank you the moore family.
