From the moment my mother and I stepped into the Beeston branch of A.W. Lymn, we were warmly greeted by Alex Skerritt, whose empathy and professionalism immediately put us at ease during what was an incredibly difficult and emotional time. His warmth, friendly manner, and reassuring smile helped us feel supported throughout the entire process of planning my father's funeral.
Alex was exceptionally competent and thoughtful, guiding us through every step with clarity and kindness. He even visited our home to discuss the arrangements in more detail and patiently answered all our questions. On the day of the celebration of life, everything ran smoothly, and Alex's warm, calm and comforting presence made all the difference. He truly is a credit to A.W. Lymn, and we are so grateful for the care he showed our family.
We also want to express our deep thanks to Richard Marshall, the celebrant, who was outstanding. He took the time to visit us at home and really listened as we shared stories about my father. He captured my father’s essence so beautifully, guiding us with sensitivity to create a service that truly honoured his life. On the day, Richard spoke so eloquently and with such sincerity, his words were perfect, and we will always be grateful for the way he helped us say farewell to our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. 
Thank you, Alex and Richard, for helping us create a heartfelt and dignified celebration of life for a man who is so deeply missed.

From start to finish we could not fault the very professional and efficient way in which the funeral was arranged and conducted. I was happy with everything that was asked of A.W. Lymn (Beeston). They buried my sister in 1997 and my mother in 2025. I would use again if I had to arrange another funeral.

My family’s experience using lymms was very positive and friendly.

 I Lona was fantastic and professional and she made the whole process effortless and less complex than it initially felt it was going to be. She had the ability to listen and interpret our ideas to tailor make the funeral to our exact needs

The staff generally were extremely sensitive and respectful in a potentially difficult and emotional situation 

The celebrant was fantastic and very kind and sensitive to my family’s feelings and supported us through the day of the funeral and delivered a professional eulogy and gave us physical support and guidance 

All in all a very incredible positive experience

At a time of great personal sadness, the professionalism, reverence and courtesy of all the staff made the entire funerary process as seamless as it could possibly be.

Genuine, caring, understanding & totally professional, from Ilona in the Beeston office who went above & beyond to ensure my wishes were followed to Kevin who took control on the day of the funeral, again so professional, caring & just wonderful. Both made a very sad and upsetting time so much more manageable. We would like to thank you Ilona & Kevin from the bottom of our hearts!! Recommend this family owned funeral director's? Absolutely!! Excellent!!

I used the Beeston office and I found them very supportive throughout the process. They had a structured approach to gathering all the information required for the committal service to proceed exactly as we wanted.
We were able to look at different elements and decide which were suitable, with no pressure to take more expensive elements. We were also given time to reflect on the choices available and consult with other members of the family before deciding.
On the day of the committal, they were present unobtrusively but ensuring that everything went smoothly/

I would highly recommend A W Lymn after having them conduct the funeral for my late mother.
In particular, from the initial meeting to the end of the service Kirby was amazing!
Her knowledge and advice was very much appreciated, as was her caring and compassionate manner. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was taken care of.
She was also aided by Ilona based at the Beeston branch who was very kind and members from other branches to drive the cars and bear the coffin which were both pleasant and professional.
The service was conducted Mark, the Civil Celebrant who took the time to learn about mum and added character and depth to the service which she would have loved.
We’ve had many comments regarding how lovely the service was, how well the day was organised and how dignified mums final send off was.
Genuinely, and under the circumstances the day couldn’t have gone any better…thank you so much.❤️

The whole team were, empathetic and professional throughout the whole sad process.
We would especially like to thank Louise who went above and beyond to secure an appropriate venue and was amazing on the day ensuring everything went smoothly.
On the day of the funeral the team were outstanding and attended to every detail even turning the cars around in readiness to follow the hearse to the cemetery.
Thanks also to Kirby, Ilona and Chris the driver.
