From start to finish the process was made easy, which is exactly what you need when going through such a difficult time. Sarah, the lady looking after our family, was absolutely amazing I can’t thank her enough for all she has done. She always made herself available at any time and we were never made to feel that anything was too much trouble.
Mark Andrew came to our house to discuss details surrounding my mums life and captured her perfectly when speaking throughout the service. Again he was fantastic and we would highly recommend.
Every detail of the funeral was exactly what we wanted and were never made to feel we should purchase anything we didn’t want. We were fully supported in all our decisions and would highly recommend A.W.Lymn to all friends and family.

One of the newest offices in the A W Lymn group, Ollerton opened in April 2011 and is run by funeral director Sarah Derbyshire and overseen by area manager Jonathan Baker.
The building features a car park at the rear, a reception, a large visiting room, a family room and cold room facilities.
The funeral home is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and at any other time by appointment. Please telephone A.W. Lymn's main number which is personally answered 24 hours a day to make arrangements.
The branch covers all of Ollerton and its surrounding areas including Budby, Church Warsop, Edwinstone, Perlethorpe, Walesby, Warsop, Wellow and beyond.

We were disgusted that where was water coming from our son’s coffin and the sides were black we also asked for the donation box to be given to Peter so it could go on the bar at the wake but Callum had it go back to his office and he had to go and get it back we payed for Michael funeral in full before his funeral and we payed £33 over the price which we have not got back yet or the proper bill yet

I am really sorry that you feel so disappointed in aspects of our service. Colum did notice the dampness on the coffin at the funeral and spoke with the bearers about it, he also acknowledges that the donation box was taken to our office rather than the wake, causing a 10 minute delay while it was dropped off for you. I am sorry that the refund has caused upset, Colum says that he clearly explained that as you had paid cash in advance, while arranging the funeral at home, he did not have change and despite offering to return with it you said a cheque with the final account a week after the funeral was acceptable. It is always disappointing when a few issues mar the funeral service, particularly of this young man. Colum O’Shea is an absolute credit to AW Lymn Funeral service at Ollerton, he was professional, patient, respectful and so kind, I cannot praise him enough for providing an excellent service for my dad’s funeral.
I would like to thank Colum for offering reassurance and for his genuine care and support during my visit to the Chapel of Rest. All of my dad’s wishes were carried out, the funeral was perfect.

No one wants to have dealings with an undertaker, however, my experience with the Ollerton branch, namely Colum O`Shea, made the experience as smooth as possible. Empath, care and consideration were foremost for this man. There is a procedure follow but no pressure was put on me to complete it all at one sitting, several visits were needed by me to complete the basic plan. Right up to the eve of the funeral I had to re-order items like music and flowers, there was no evidence of frustration at these moments.
We were advised as the procedures of the funeral cars and service as these were unknown to me. Right up to advice entering the crematorium as what would happen. Needless to say all went well and the whole family were impressed with his direction and co-ordination of the event. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Colum and his team of drivers and ministers for their support administrating the funeral service for my wife and the care of my family before, during and after the service. Thank you!
