Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

The whole coop involvement was fantastic and done with care and respect. The celebrant was ok but made quite a few mistakes. It was noticeable to me and my sister but probably not many others but was still a shame. Think she should insist on talking through eulogy at least by phone

I would liked to have given an excellent review but due to the wrong flower arrangement turning up and the comments that were given by Ian's family members it made for an awkward day. So I can only provide a very good score as appart from the flowers and comments it was an excellent service given by haxby funeralcare group.

The organizing of the service was a little more complicated as my brother and I are from abroad. From the beginning they took all these complications away. The level of detail and expert advise was more than excellent. On the day of the service it went completely to plan and they delivered the most beautiful service for our mother.
