We were absolutely delighted with the way G Roberts carried out my wife's funeral. The meeting beforehand was friendly but efficient and all our requests were met in a positive way. The actual service and the transport to and from it was really good. We were delighted with the beautiful wicker coffin which was exactly what my wife wanted. There are times in everyone’s lives when you need to leave it to the experts especially at times of physical and emotional stress. Having to arrange a funeral be it a first time experience or a repeated experience is not something that anyone   wants to do or may not have a choice to do. This is where following the death of my wife I found that G Robert’s were able to sympathetically take me through the whole process explaining each step at a time. My wife passed away in a hospital that was not in North Yorkshire and it was no trouble for Mr Robert to bring her back to Scarborough. They were also happy to comply with my requests from the family with the preparation details of her interment in addition to the service preparation, flowers etc, right through to her headstone recommendations. I am more than happy to recommend G Roberts to provide a full and comprehensive funeral service which will be conducted in a very sympathetic and professional manner.
