Co-op Funeralcare, Newton-Le-Willows

The coop team made the whole process stress free and guided us along the way. They treated us like friends and shown remarkable care and support and looked after my mum as if she was theirs before the funeral and when getting her ashes. They have said they are always there if we need them for a cup of tea and a chat which I thought was lovely.

We found the Co op Funeral Service excellent. At a difficult and sensitive time, the approach was gentle and caring whilst covering all the details thoroughly. The funeral itself ran smoothly apart from an issue with the sound at the crematorium.
Our thanks to all the team, particularly to Sarah, who expertly guided and supported us with calm cheerfulness.

The staff at the co-op newton - le - willows were fantastic especially Sarah. She guided us through the whole process and kept in contact throughout. Nothing was any trouble for her and she made us feel at ease through a time of pain and heartache.

Excellent from our first meeting with Sarah. Nothing was too much trouble for her and our every need was catered for. They kept in touch every step of the way and checked in on the family regularly.
On the day, Joe looked after us all perfectly- such a caring and compassionate gentleman. Absolutely superb, professional service. Thank you

I have to say nothing was to much trouble for Sara and Stu. They were there for us every step of the way. There attention to detail was excellent. My mum's funeral was beautiful, eveyone commented on what a beautiful service it was. It was a lovely celebration of her life. Thank you so much Sara & Stu.

Excellent faultless service...Sarah at the Newton-le-Willows branch is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble...Stuart is professional and organised..His attention to detail made the day...They work as an excellent team...Our family funeral went like clockwork because of both their involvement and attention to detail...I cried with joy at one point as everything had been thought of and organised.

The funeral itself was all good and the staff was lovely but was never given my wife’s belongings when my daughter asked for them was told they had been returned to the Warrington branch and when they went to get them back said they could not find them

From start to finish, the service received from staff at Co-op Funeralcare was exemplary. The empathy and support provided by Sarah, made an extremely difficult situation bearable and I can't begin to express how grateful I am for that and for taking amazing care of my dad. Stewart, the funeral director was very approachable and took extremely good care of us on our journey to and from the crematorium, even taking care of items that we used during the service. John, the celebrant organised by the Sarah, was absolutely fantastic and supportive. He kept in regular contact and conducted a lovely and touching service. Literally everything was taken care of and no request was too much.

Lady at the Co-op did a wonderful job organising my mother’s funeral for the family. Took all the stress and worry away. Kept in touch with me throughout  both before and after, checking in to see how I was. On top of everything while I wasn’t thinking about how much it was going to cost I was surprised at what we got and how much it cost, far less than I had thought it would.
Would recommend their service to anyone.
