Danny and the team where absolutely fantastic. The care and attention to detail was first class. The discussion with Danny to make the arrangements where thorough but also included aspects I had not considered which made a big difference on the day. The major personal touch was the ability to visit a significant location on route toe the crematorium and we were able to visit my wife's family home. This made a huge impression on the whole family and was a great touch. The cars where impeccable and again the attention to detail was first rate e.g. the team had a carpet in-front of the car doors to allow passengers to step on before getting in. It may be common, but having the lead usher walk in front of the car at key moments was greatly appreciated. Everything went like clockwork and on a stressful day, it really made a huge difference.
I know that Albin International is a separate group, but I have to mention what a service they provided. Stephen was on top of all arrangement to repatriate my wife and there was absolutely no problems. He kept me updated throughout the process and also helped with the paper work to transport my wife's ashes to the Bahamas. Another first class service. The end to end process was seamless and made a huge difference to me and the family and friends.

Danny Collins is the funeral director who manages the branch, which is located at Barking Road, East London.
The branch covers Plaistow, East Ham, Barking, Canning Town and Essex.
Danny is available to assist you Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. There is an arranging office, a reception area and two chapels of rest in the premises. The company operates a 24 hour on call response outside normal working hours.
Albin & Hitchcock offer exhumation, burial, repatriation and cremation services, as well as prearranged funerals, will writing, memorials and more.
A memorial garden is also available if you so wish to inter the ashes of your loved one.
The Albin family has progressed to work as funeral directors after starting as wardens of the Bermondsey cemetery over 200 years ago.

Lynn was so professional and sensitive from start to finish with the organisation of my Mum’s funeral.

Danny is a true loyal Ambassador for Albins and Hitchcock and shows dedication to your clients needs and to your Business, as do the rest of your team Jamie, Danny, Chris, Paul, and Steve (I believe the names are correct on Mums day).
Our Mums funeral was a beautiful farewell to "our Queen" and that's how proud we were made to feel, the Sun shining down on us, together with the supportive and compassionate care of your team is unforgettable!!!
Our family and friends had nothing but praise for you all at Albins and Hitchcock and Brother Julian delivering the service too.

Having never organised a funeral before, I was apprehensive over choosing a funeral director but as soon as we met with Danny at Albin & Hitchcock we felt at ease. He is absolutely lovely and looked after myself and my family with care and consideration, from organising the details all the way to the funeral itself. On the actual day of the funeral (26th Feb 2021) all of the Albins staff were incredible and so professional. It was with the utmost respect and dignity that my brother was taken on his final journey and laid to rest. I highly recommend them. Thank you Danny and all at Albins. Michelle & Family

Debbie and Danny offered excellent, compassionate service. They helped to ease our path during a very painful time and helped us to create a meaningful, personal ceremony. We felt they were respectful, flexible and professional and went above and beyond to make sure they got things right. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The entire team is very Good. Each member of the team knew their part very well. Good Co-ordination , understanding and very respectful .

From the first phone call to Debbie right the way through she was extremely respectful professional and so helpful she made the hardest time in our lives so much more bearable with her support and communication she talked us through every step of the way , on the day Jamie and the guy's were also very respectful, smart and again communication was excellent ... I would highly recommend Albin and Hitchcock as a class A funeral service...I cannot thank them enough for making the whole process perfect on the saddest day of our lives.

Debbie at Barking Road Undertakers was extremely supportive to our family and especially caring to our mum in her care.
