I'd like to thank Graham Powell for his considerate professionalism, thoughtful and thorough presentation of what was available to us from our first meeting onwards, the organisation of the funeral itself and his general helpfulness right up to the collection of my wife, Sally's, ashes. The choice of Rosalie Kuyvenhoven as Celebrant was especially appreciated as she was highly empathetic and diligent in all of our exchanges. She delivered an excellent eulogy and presented the occasion with both dignity and understanding. Thank you both!

I feel that there was poor communication as I had to approach funeral directors to find out if my Dad had even been collected from hospital so we could see him. This was 10 days after his death. I was also not happy with the celebrant they chose who we all felt that she was all about her needs and even got his name completely wrong in an email she sent.

Seemed to be very much how I fitted into their pre-selected funeral plan rather than listening to what I wanted. They responded quickly, which is their favour, but there kept being obstacles to what I wanted to organise.

Varley & Varley is a wonderful funeral directors. From the first call on a Saturday morning with Clayton after my father sadly passing on the Friday evening he was quick to offer advice, support and help even outside of office hours. Nothing was too much trouble, Sam oversaw all the funeral arrangements and was so efficient & helpful, helping with the smooth organisation of the Order of Service at the crematorium & was a wonderful celebrant speaking at our service. Everything in the run up and on the day ran well and that was all thanks to the care, attention & respect that V&V took. The funeral cars, flowers, pallbearers everything was first class. Thankyou ever so much Clayton and Sam for giving my father such a lovely send off; really mean it that you both went above & beyond to make sure that my family were in a good place to remember my dad and have a special day saying goodbye. Thankyou Sarah

Jo @ Balham COOP made a very difficult and traumatic experience as easy and hassle free as possible. She was there throughout the whole process, guiding and reassuring myself and my family, including aftercare.
