What should I do when someone dies?

How do you arrange a funeral?

You can arrange a funeral by choosing a funeral director who will help you organise all of the details. They can help you decide whether to have a cremation or burial and what type of service to choose, as well as additional options, such as music and flowers. You can find out what happens at a funeral and compare funeral directors on Funeral Guide.

How much does a funeral cost?

The cost of a funeral depends on where you are in the UK and whether you choose a burial or a cremation. Natural burial is becoming increasingly popular, but can often be more expensive than burial in a traditional cemetery. The cost of coffins, flowers, catering and transport also varies a lot. There is also an almost unlimited list of options for personalising a service, such as professional funeral singers or a motorcycle-hearse. You can compare the price of funeral directors on Funeral Guide.

I would wholeheartedly like to thank everyone at Albins for their excellent service from beginning to end. Such lovely caring people, with a special mention to Dawn and George, who did all they could to help and make everything flow seamlessly. No one could ask for better

I would like to say a big thank you to Adam and all at Eternal Pages Funeral Directors for all that they done for me and our family. The support and guidance was amazing from the very start. Eternal Pages was recommended to us and we was so glad we listened to the recommendation. From the day I first made contact with Eternal Pages they guided us through everything. My brother in laws funeral its self was amazing and Eternal Pages went above and beyond in everything they did. I would 100% recommend Eternal Pages Funeral Directors.

Words cannot begin to express how amazing, professional, caring and compassionate Adam and all the staff at Eternal Pages funeral directors are. At a time that was difficult for us as a family, Adam and his team made it more bearable and fulfilled all our family wishes in saying goodbye to our brother.

I would like to thank the whole team at F A Albins’  for their kindness, empathy and professionalism. We had a number of very positive comments from family regarding the team who looked after us on the day of my Aunt’s’ funeral.
