I was most impressed with the way Simon handled things as I would always be ringing up and asking silly questions and he answered them all for me as I must of been a bit annoying asking the same questions all the time but he always got back to me and nothing was too much so Thankyou for all you did to make the day go smoothly

We are deeply grateful to Simon and all at Welling FuneralCare for the way we were supported throughout the time we first registered my brother’s death until after the service itself.  Simon was kind, sensitive, thoughtful, thorough and totally professional in the way he helped us, especially since we live in Birmingham so had to do so much at a distance.  A huge “Thank You” from me and from my whole family.

The service from Co-op Funeral care was good and I couldn’t fault the funeral director or celebrant on the day. 
The only problem as such was that, although the Welling branch dealt with the arrangements for my father’s funeral with us, Woolwich seemed to be the main branch where the body was kept. We chose a local branch for convenience for the family wishing to view him and many of the relatives and friends naturally ordered flowers to be delivered to the Welling branch. My sister found out that the floral tributes needed to be delivered to the Woolwich branch almost by mistake and informed the florist we had all chosen to use to deliver all flowers for my dad to Woolwich rather than Welling. She also went to visit our dad in Woolwich and found it quite inconvenient with extra travel, traffic and parking difficulties. Had we known this we may well have chosen a local funeral director where everything would be dealt with on site as it were. Sadly we also lost our mother just 19 days before our father (although they were no longer together) and used the Co-op Ashford branch for her funeral. We found the experience of both funerals quite different in many ways and we’re a little surprised by this, but not in a negative way.

The Co-op Funeral Care in Welling were so helpful.  From the very first phone call to the day of the Funeral both Gillian and Jan were so helpful and caring, nothing was too much bother for them. If they said they would call back they did. 
The Lady and Gentleman who were there the day of the Funeral in the Hearse were amazing, stopping outside the old family home and  showing respect.
 It made an emotional day all the better as everything ran so smoothly.

Everyone was so helpful they couldn’t do enough for us . Jan was so helpful and David the celebrant was second to none absolutely brilliant. The only downside was when my husband went to visit my mum in Woolwich she wasn’t ready , it would have been nicer to have a phone call to reschedule before going down there . The funeral went without a hitch and I couldn’t not rate your services enough . Thank you Jan Simon and David

The funeral arrangements were quite detailed, and they were expertly handled by Jan, which removed any stress that we might have felt. I was particularly pleased with the attractive design of the Order of Service leaflet. On the day of the funeral, I found Vernon very helpful and reassuring throughout. With this support, the whole experience became one of celebration of a life, rather than grief for the loss.

Seemed to be very much how I fitted into their pre-selected funeral plan rather than listening to what I wanted. They responded quickly, which is their favour, but there kept being obstacles to what I wanted to organise.
