Excellent, kind and respectful service from start to finish. No request overlooked and every part of our dealings with Andrew and his team we were treated with dignity and respect. On the day of my sisters funeral they treated her with the utmost dignity and respect along with the rest of my family too. Communication at a time in your own life when fear and panic are at a height was first class, we never waited for calls to be answered or emails responded too. A first class service which if we had the need, we would certainly use again.

Excellent is the way I would describe the service we were given.
We were looked after so well Andrew put us at our ease at a time when we really didn't know what we were doing . You guided us through all the little extra things that my daughters wanted which I had never come across before like the photo reel . Which was so nice to see .
On the day everything went so well and you were all so caring . Darren our driver looked after us with such care . Especially when I arrived at the crematorium and I was extremely upset and shaking . Telling me to take my time and not to rush. I am very grateful for the care and attention to detail shown to us .

I can’t recommend Andrew and the team at Melton and The Vale enough. They helped us through a very difficult time and delivered an excellent service for my little brother. It was a really awful time for me and my family, but MVF made the planning process easier for us.

It could be said that there is no greater time that requires appropriate sensitivity than a funeral; Andrew Charles at Melton and the Vale Independent Funeral Directors offered us this in spades. He helped us navigate an incredibly difficult situation with a particularly complicated family dynamic. He was readily available both in person and by telephone, and maintained a graceful availability to all who wanted to visit our brother before his cremation. On the day of my brother's committal Mr Charles' and his team were dressed impeccably and behaved like consummate professionals. At all times, we felt Mr Charles' respect for our brother and his memory, and his passion to provide a fitting and significant occasion. Throughout the process it felt like nothing was too much. I can't recommend him enough.

We used Andrew at Melton and the Vale for my mother's funeral. The benefit of using an idependant: he provided an extremely personal service and took the stressout of the whole thing. Andrew provided the celebrant, flowers, order of service and nothing was too much trouble. We had a beautiful funeral befitting of a lovely lady: and it was very good value. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will definitely use it again should the need arise.

My father filled out one of Andrew’s funeral wishes forms after he learnt he only had months to live. This form was a tremendous help for both us and Dad. It helped us a lot with the decisions we needed to make as he had already decided what he wanted. Andrew treated my family and I with kindness and compassion, and guided us through the whole process. It was extremely difficult with Covid rules but Dads wishes were ticked off one by one while still complying to Covid rules. He let the grandsons carry Dads coffin and helped them with clear instructions as to what they needed to do. Everything went really well and smoothly and we would like to say a huge thank you to Andrew and his staff for making Dads funeral just as he wanted. He would have been so pleased. I have got more funeral wishes forms from Melton and the Vales website for the rest of the family now, it is such a comfort to know future funerals for our family will be  just what we want and a little less stressful for us. Thank you Andrew.

At a time of immense sadness Andrew was fantastic. Supportive, helpful and in no way pushy. Andrew helped us to set a realistic budget which enabled us to relax knowing the costs were taken care of. 
With his help we gave my Aunt a fitting send off. The funeral was calm and dignified. Andrew and his team gave the family space to grieve and the security of knowing everything and everyone was taken care of. 
We recommend Melton and the Vale Independent Funeral Directors unreservedly. You will not find a better service.

My Dad passed away in the middle of the covid lockdown,this meant funerals were very different to normal.Andrew and his staff at Melton and the vale funerals did everything in their power to give my dad the send off he deserved.Dad was very proud of his army service in the korean war and was a member of the veterans association.Andrew arranged for a live bugle player to stand opposite my dads house and sound the last post as he left for the final time.Melton and the vale funerals went above and beyond in their care of my dad indeed our family at our lowest time.Thankyou to all who took part in dads service

Melton and The Vale have been very supportive throughout the whole process at what is an even more difficult time under the current circumstances of Covid19. They guided and supported us through the steps and decisions we needed to make and on the day provided exactly the Service we wanted.
