I would’ve given excellent but due to a couple of times the obituary what went into the Lancashire evening post was wrong but apart from that I cannot fault any of the staff within Mckenna's and a big thank you to Stephen and the staff on the day of my aunts funeral couldn’t of asked for a better service .

The service from Mckennas was excellent. Anna listened to our needs and met all our requests with kindness and efficiency. She was in regular contact with us and enabled us to take control of mums funeral arrangements. Alyson the funeral director was also really supportive visiting us and taking us through the process with kindness and thoughtfulness. On the day of the funeral Alyson was comforting and reassuring whilst providing unobtrusive facilitation in all aspects of the service.

All aspects of the service and attention to detail were undertaken thoughtfully and carefully. We would especially like to mention Anna Gudmundsdottir who performed excellently as your office manager and kept us informed at every point and worked very diligently with us to produce a lovely order of service booklet.

On the day your funeral director Allyson kept everything in order and to schedule and took away all the pressure from my two sisters and I on the day of Mum's funeral. Thank you.

On the whole very good but two points that let you down were:

1) My wife had not been properly prepared when she was first visited in the room of repose. The first visitors were my children who said her face was green.

2) I emailed plenty of photographs to be used for the live stream but you used the same three photographs that were for the Order Of Service.

Care and attention to detail of the funeral itself and being kept informed of the progress each day with one or two hitches which occurred and were sorted by the excellent staff at McKenna's very quickly.
