From the moment I rang and spoke to Ashley on the morning of mum's passing I felt like I was no longer alone. Amber really looked after me and made me feel at ease on the day of the funeral.
The whole team have been brilliant, couldn't ask for better.

We were very happy with the arrangements for the funeral and everything went smoothly on the day.
We found Ashley, the arranger very accommodating helpful and professional. He assisted us on the preparation of the Mass leaflet and was attentive to our situation, however there was some breakdown in communication between Ashley and Amber as we had decided not to put on the Mass leaflet a general invitation to the post funeral buffet due family numbers. This was discussed at the time with Ashley. Unfortunately Amber made a general invitation to all at the church and parishioners who were many in attendance. This caused more expense at the venue; as the cost of the buffet was £22 per head.We had only catered for family numbers.
Amber as the Funeral director was smart and a professional manner, she gave us good direction as to when to leave the bench and also to the gentlemen in attendance.We were very happy with the whole ceremony and Ashley had liaised with our Parish priest.
Thank you so much, we are glad it is over and feel my Father received the upmost dignity and care even after his death.

The coop funeral (blackburn) have been fantastic with sorting & organising funeral for nora wolstenholme (my mum) Ashley & Amber have been a godsend they were brilliant with me with their help etc I really do appreciate what they have done for my mums funeral it was lovely I couldn't ask for a better coop funeral I would recommend them to anyone they have done fantastic job if it wasn't for them I'll be lost that Ashley & Amber thx u guys i will never forget you both thxs once again kind regards Nora.B xx

Fantasy service from the Blackburn branch - Amber was simply amazing and made sure the whole process was handled exactly as the family wanted. Plenty of communication at all stages and the day went exactly as we had hoped. Superb work from all involved and I cannot recommend them enough.

Right from the first minute Amber has been absolutely fantastic to my family

Throughout my sisters funeral arrangements we have found Amber to be professional, thoughtful, kind and considerate.

On the basis of our experience my mother said she wants Amber to organise her funeral arrangements.

I will ensure my mother’s request is fulfilled

Blackburn Coop FuneralCare handled this cremation professionally and ensured a smooth process. This was difficult and much appreciated given the fact that my brother and I lived in London and France respectively. It helped us to come to terms with our father's death together.

Amber, Ashley and the Team could not have done any more for our family.  

The care and love they showed our Mum really helped us whilst she was in their care.  They played music for Mum and talked to her every day.. they made her Chapel look like she has her own little living room.   

The support they showed to all our family helped us to organise the enormity of our Mums Funeral and we will be forever grateful.

They think of everything.. even Jelly Babies on the day to give us a little pick up.. Thanks Dave.

When the Funeral day came.. Amber and the Team were so professional, courteous and immaculately presented and were there for us every step of the way.

They were available at all times and in summary  we feel honoured to have them look after Mum and the family and we cannot recommend them enough.

Thank you so much again.. keep up the good work and take pride knowing you did our Mum and the Family proud.

I can't speak highly enough of the Blackburn Coop Funeralcare team. Ashley and Amber are both incredibly lovely people - they steered me and my Mum through the whole process with immense kindness and lots of reassuring professional confidence. They are both fantastic at detail and communication. My Dad, who was the King of Admin, would have heartily approved. Pastor Philip Parmley was also a wonderfully warm speaker on the day, hand-picked by Ashley for our family. The whole team has our heartfelt thanks.

The service provided by Co-op Funeralcare Blackburn was exemplary. We were treated with compassion and professionalism throughout. In particular the planning stage, delivered by Ashley, helped us enormously to come to terms with Phyl's death; he referred to Phyl as "our loved one" and let us know where/how she was at every stage. Nothing was too much trouble and we knew that Ashley was there if we had any fears, requests or questions. He is a credit to your company. On the day of the funeral Amber was also faultless, we were very impressed with the service she provided and the respect and compassion demonstrated to Phyl, family and friends. The two drivers also deserve to be mentioned, they were very respectful and a calming presence on the day. A huge thank you to all the staff for the care and attention to detail we experienced from Funeralcare at Blackburn.
