The lady,Julie at co-op funeral care,chatham was great,very friendly and answered all the questions that we had,my only complaint is that I think there should be some sort of contact by message maybe on the day of cremation just to acknowledge the event,but overall great service thanku

Our Beautiful Mum… Margaret Walker. We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts, yr great warmth and kindness shown to our family was faultless! Tho our mum was elderly, sadly with dementia and had become frail , we had thought mum hopefully to be  with us longer. Loosing her had come as great shock. Your staff treated us with much dignity and very empathetic. With much appreciation and heartfelt  thank you… To Emily and verity  could never be enough.

From the moment my Brother and I visited the Chatham branch of Coop funeral care
, we have been looked after. Eleanor is kind, empathetic and didn't rush us to make decisions, her colleague Verity was also a great support regarding the order of service. They know their jobs well and guided us through to the actual day of Dad's funeral. I recieved a call the afternoon before the funeral and everything was checked through. The actual service, from the guidance to my sons, and husband who were bearing Dad's coffin into the chapel to the timings of the service were meticulous and handled with respect and empathy. Family and friends have positive and warm memories of saying our final goodbyes to Dad, which we will have forever. Thank you to the Coop team for helping us at such an emotional time.

The level of service was far from professional- completely amateur for a company that boasts of their 150 years in the business.
The building in 65 High Street Chatham is not fit for purpose, their staff are untrained which only adds to the incompetence encountered. At a time when we all require support and guidance- please do not entrust your loved ones to this company, it is run merely as a money orientated business without respect and compassion for the deceased and their loved ones.
