We had to call for updates rather than be updated. My father's body had to be transported from Newcastle to us locally in Maidstone and for reasons that were never advised, this took over two weeks which meant that by the time my father was in the local parlour it was too late too even view him. Due to the lateness in the booking of the crematorium, family members were not able to attend. This was offset a bit by the weblink option and the professionalism of the celebrant and the undertakers. This is the only reason what we have not scored this one star. They were superb, but I've been left very upset in the delay in organising what needed doing. We made an official complaint with the head office, but as with everything else so far, we have yet to receive any sort of response or even an acknowledgement! We are very disappointed with the service provided by Co-Op and would be very reluctant to recommend them to anybody else unfortunately.

Graham, Kayleigh and the Team in the Maidstone office have made a difficult time easier to bear with their kindness and helpfulness. In particular Kayleigh went out of her way to organise a funeral that meant my brother could attend before he went away for a long trip - something the family are very grateful for.

This is the second funeral the Co-op have organised for the family this year and both have been made so much easier with the team available to help whenever we needed it.

Graham at your Maidstone branch was excellent, this was the first funeral that I have had to arrange, it’s been a wee difficult as being in Scotland, but everything that I wanted all came together on the day I could have not wished for anything better from the Co-op, my thanks go out to all that where involved

Coop Funeral Care were great from start to finish. Kayleigh was great at communicating and coordinating mum's funeral.
