How do you arrange a funeral?

You can arrange a funeral by choosing a funeral director who will help you organise all of the details. They can help you decide whether to have a cremation or burial and what type of service to choose, as well as additional options, such as music and flowers. How much does a funeral cost?

The cost of a funeral depends on where you are in the UK and whether you choose a burial or a cremation. Natural burial is becoming increasingly popular, but can often be more expensive than burial in a traditional cemetery. The cost of coffins, flowers, catering and transport also varies a lot. There is also an almost unlimited list of options for personalising a service, such as professional funeral singers or a motorcycle-hearse. You can compare the price of funeral directors on Funeral Guide.

From the very first telephone call with Albany they were extremely helpful and so caring. They guided us and there were no unexpected costs.  We were given an initial estimate and this turned out to be the final cost.  They also gave us contacts for a celebrant and florist both of which were amazing.  I knew immediately that we had made the right choice. On the day of my Dad’s funeral Albany were so professional but their caring nature came through, ensuring that all attendees were ok. What makes Albany stand out from other companies …. aftercare …. they are always there with a friendly manner. Thank you so much to Jim, Jo and the whole Albany team.

We dealt with Julie who was absolutely superb. Calm, empathic, professional and very warm. The offices are beautiful and really add the personal touch to this “process” and I won’t hesitate to recommend Fuggles to other who require their services. A special thanks to Lisa in the front office for her assistance and attention to detail.

Andy at Holly’s funerals was AMAZING all the way through the difficult process. We wanted a lot of things done differently as we wanted to celebrate Mum, and he was very supportive of our wishes and guided us through the process of burying her at home. On the day he was totally there when we needed him, I would highly recommend Andy and Holly’s Funerals especially if you are looking for an alternative celebration.

Myself and two daughters wanted in particular a Celebration of my wife's life as we had 52years of Love and Happiness. I can say we achieved this and more, even I managed to tell 'My Love Story'. The venue was perfect at St Augustine's Priory as was the setting in the room. Organisation was faultless as was the Eulogy and presentation by Katherine Luxford. Having high tea after in the Conservatory of the Manor House was a great idea with everyone smiling. If you want a personal recommendation via Albany Funerals I would be pleased to assist.
