The team at Watford Funeralcare (part of Co-operative Funeral care) were excellent, particularly Kat Roberts who was outstanding. Her professionalism was eclipsed only by her kindness. She made a very difficult situation bearable, and thanks to her, I found the perfect church, vicar and reception venue to ensure that my mother was laid to rest beautifully at the chosen cemetery.
I cannot thank her enough.
Her colleagues were brilliant too, and John ensured that things went smoothly on the day.
I highly recommend this service and this team. They deserve the five stars. Top marks and much gratitude.

I recently buried my grandmother and the care and support provided was 10 out of 10 . Kat looked after both my grandparents funerals and I couldn’t have asked for a better service . Thank you co op again for making this time less stressful and for all your help and support

I have unfortunately had to use the Co-op funeral services twice in the last year and both times they have been incredibly professional. All the staff were incredibly kind, and we were just very impressed with the whole service. The professionalism made a difficult time easier and I was glad to have found them.

We were met with the best of care, the atmosphere was one of warmth, compassion. The ladies treated us with respect at all times. We felt comfortable with them at all times. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all those involved in arranging the funeral care of my husband.

Discussing the various options with Kat was made as easy as it can be by her kind, considerate, but straightforward manner.

Everything went to plan and special thanks to our celebrant Mike, who was excellent.  George was also brilliant on the day by making the process run without a hitch.

Those who attended the funeral and those who saw it on streaming told me that it was a lovely service and I have to agree with them. Al Mayfield was wonderful as a celebrant. We were taken through the whole process, from beginning to end , with nothing but care, compassion and kindness. Georgina was fabulous, taking care of us. The whole farewell service was tailored to our family and was a perfect way to say goodbye to mum.

The whole team were very kind and professional.
The only bone of contention was the price of the posy I was charged for. I ordered the posy through the Co-op funeral care - cost:£55:00.  A friend of mine ordered the identical posy from the same florist that the Co-op use: “L Cook Florist” Carpenders Park - cost:£25:00. I feel that paying an extra £30:00., for the same service, as “L Cook” delivered both the posy’s to Co-op funeral care at the same time, extremely unjust and in consideration would like to be reimbursed for the £30:00., I feel unjustly charged for.

We as a family could not have found a more caring and compassionate funeral service. Everything was dealt with above and beyond our expectations and nothing was too much trouble. On the day everyone said how professional the Co-op were and stated they would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who had lost a loved one. A huge thank to everyone at the Watford office and also to Emma for conducting the funeral as if she knew Mum personally.
