My father John Hamilton had thee most wonderful send off.waters and sons arranged everything perfectly.everything was catered specifically for my dad .the whole service was my dad to a T.and afterwards at the wake I heard someone say"it was a nicer service than some of the weddings they had been to.so thankyou waters and sons for doing my dad proud.

I am so pleased that we chose Waters & Sons, who had nothing but respect for my elderly father at a time of immense grief in loosing his wife of 62 years.

At a sad time for us, we didn't like the 'matter of fact' attitude shown by what I would call the 'big' funeral directors. They seemed to be money orientated and wanted to get as much money from us as possible.

Waters & Sons listened to what we wanted and have been so good in accommodating my fathers wishes. They were not out to sell us the most expensive funeral they had , they simply wanted to help us through a difficult time and do what was best for us. A breath of fresh air in my view..

Whilst I know that funeral directors are not a place you want to have to visit, I can highly recommend Waters & Sons. A special thank you to David Waters. I know this was the first time he had been so involved and he personally handled everything for us.

I would also like to mention the Celebrant Liza Riggway , who was so moving in the way she delivered the service. She set just the right tone. I would also recommend her to any others who do not want a religious service

At a very sad time for all the family, the staff at Waters and Sons were patient, caring and supportive, with good advice and sensible suggestions to make the process less difficult.  Nothing was too much trouble for them (even very late changes to arrangements) and all our queries were dealt with immediately and sympathetically.  We would recommend their services unreservedly.  Thank you all.

Waters & son was absolutely brilliant from start to finish, as this a very emotional time for all they helped immensely to plan my mother in laws funeral, on the day everything went smoothly. In February, I had the unenviable task of arranging my late husbands funeral. Waters was the nearest Funeral Directors to where I live. I decided to go there, as I had not been very happy with the Funerals of close relatives in recent years, which were managed by other local Funeral Directors. From the moment I had a conversation about the Funeral with Simon and his colleagues at Waters, I knew I had made the right choice. They were all so professional, caring and compassionate people. On the day of the Funeral, everything went perfectly, right down to the last detail, nothing was left to chance and my husband had the most beautiful send off, thanks to Simon and colleagues at Waters. I can never thank them enough. I thoroughly recommend them, they are, far and away, the best.

Simon and his team went way over anything we could have expected during this extremely emotional time. We called a few companies in the area and chose Waters & Son on the warmth of the first telephone contact with them and from that moment on we were guided by them in an extremely professional and sympathetic way.

Simon found Liza the celebrant for us and she was so patient and caring in putting the service together for us.

Based on the service, professionalism and empathy we received from Waters and Son I would recommend them to everyone and would definitely use them again should the unfortunate need arise.
