Availability 24 hours EVERY day
Provision of a detailed consultation to discuss and arrange your individual funeral requirements
A Home Visit can be arranged at NO additional cost
Advice and guidance on all available options and choices
Assistance in collation of all necessary documentation
Guidance on the Registration of Death
Co-ordination with the Coroner, should he be involved
To act as an Agent, and make arrangements with, the Clergy, Crematorium/Cemetery, Doctor, etc
Provision of a your own Funeral Director to officiate and co-ordinate the Funeral Service from point arrangement to the day of the funeral
A full complement of professional Bearers
To arrange other relevant documents that may be required

Hearse (£580)

For the provision of our Hearse and bearers
For the Hearse to arrive at a local address, to meet Mourners so allowing following cars to make a cortege
ALTERNATIVELY, the Hearse meets you at the place of service

Removal Service (£475)

Rowland`s 24hours on call to respond to your immediate telephone enquiry
Initial Advice and Guidance on what needs to be done
Provision of Vehicle and Staff to attend, to collect the deceased 24 Hours a day
A FREE detailed booklet entitled ‘ Arranging a Funeral’
Care of the deceased prior to the funeral and dressing in own clothes or robe
Holding of your loved one to our dedicated facilities within a 20 mile radius

Provision of a suitable coffin (£445.00)

This will be a simple Veneered Oak Coffin

NOTE: Any additional fees might include:

Care, Attention & Hygienic Treatment by qualified and experiences staff with use of private chapel of rest with 24 hour access: £250.00 (£400 for Covid)
One Day Only visit to our chapel without hygienic treatment: £85.00
Removal of pacemaker which may damage cremators: £75.00
Collection of Cremated Remains: £ 75.00
Provision of a Satin Robe: £10.00

This funeral home has two bright and comfortable lounges for families making funeral arrangements and its own facilities on site to look after people and prepare them for their funeral. There are four beautiful private chapels of rest, with a key available to families so they can visit their loved one at any time of day or night, without having to make an appointment.

Rowland’s Funeral Service can help with every element of the funeral according to your wishes, or family tradition – and can arrange for any type of funeral vehicle, from limousines and horse-drawn hearse to a motorcycle-led cortege.

The funeral home has its own private car park and, providing complete services for the bereaved all under one roof, families can view coffins and memorial masonry in its dedicated showrooms.

Thank you for providing a service that was compassionate in the complete calmness in which it was delivered. Nothing felt too much to ask. The help in finding the right piece of music we had been hunting for was just beyond our expectation. Marsha was always kindness itself and took the time to speak with us even when she wasn’t expecting us. She had never met our mum but her dedication only made our family feel cared about but that our mum was the VIP she was to us. Thank you Marsha. Thanks are also due to the young lady in the office who also demonstrated a kind and friendly attitude towards us whenever we did call in. Also the driver of our limousine and the gentleman pallbearers who assisted Mum’s grandsons to carry her in. I can’t thank you all for making such a sad event be as peaceful and easy as it was.

The whole process of arranging the Funeral was made as painless and as possible. The Funeral itself was at a natural burial site and the journey down to Mum's final resting place through the woods in the pouring rain was handled with care from Owen and Elise and the bearers.

During this traumatic time for our family Rowland's Funeral Service made sure that it went smoothly and was as stress free as possible. We cannot thank them enough.
