we found Rowlands funeral service sensitive and caring as well as efficient. We were left the right amount of space and time to think about what was required so there was no rushing the process which of its very nature is a difficult time.

My mother chose Rowlands herself because she appreciated their service.

At a time of huge loss and grief, we cannot have asked for more help, support and kindness. Handled professionally with the right amount of tact and empathy. Understood the kind of service we wanted and provided the funeral my husband had always told me he wanted. The celebrant was also wonderful and again, understood and provided just the right sort of words and funeral we wanted.

We had asked for an unusual choice of music and it was provided with no fuss or problem.

Rowlands also provided services to my husbands parents a few years ago and I know as a Petersfield family they considered that Rowlands 'the people to go to' and that is why my husband also wanted me to use Rowlands. I have in my will that I am to be handled by them as well.

Thanks to Marsha and all for such an appropriate send off for my husband and for the support, tact and humanity and respect they gave the family.

Owen was the person who led my funeral and directed me through everything I had to do. I found him extremely kind and caring and patient. He made the process as easy as possible and I am very grateful for everything him and the company did. I could not recommend them enough.

Rowlands organised my father’s funeral extremely well. Despite the fact that it had to be done remotely-they couldn’t have taken more care!
They supported me in my grief, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
If I ever have another funeral, they’ll be my undertaker of choice.

Top class service from start to finish. Charlotte was very easy to talk to, very friendly, professional and made us feel at ease. Communication by email or phone were replied to instantly. The funeral service itself went very well and was exactly how we wanted it. Charlotte even went to the extra trouble of sourcing us a biodegradable urn. I would highly recommend.

Right from the point of initial contact Rowland's, and especially Charlotte, were wonderful. Sympathetic, so helpful, patient and with great care, consideration and compassion Charlotte lead and guided us through the entire time. The day of the service was stressful enough, but with the added restrictions and limitations that the Covid pandemic place on such events it was almost unbearable. However Charlotte and her team were all so calm and reassuring - a great ability at such a time.
