Marie provided an exceptional service during a very difficult and emotional time. She really took the time to understand us as a family and how we wanted to celebrate our mum. She delivered on everything we asked for, was always available and at no point did we feel unsupported or not understood. Thank you Marie for everything x

Marie and her team at Moore’s could not have made our experience any better. Marie seemed to understand us and Mum immediately and made us feel at ease and supported at such a painful time. The guidance and knowledge she provided was invaluable and so gentle. Marie was in contact at every stage making the full process completely seemless. We felt so comfortable that Mum was in her care. Every detail was listened to and understood making mums last day beautiful. 

Thank you again to everyone at Moore’s but a special thanks to Marie, without her I don’t think we could have got through it. She has helped us create our final memory.

Bonnie was my contact at Moore's and she was patient, understanding and helped liaise with the crematorium and guide me through the process of arranging the funeral at each stage. She made every effort to enable me to have the service I wanted for my partner. Everything went smoothly and professionally on the day and my guests were complementary. I can look back and know I did the best I could for him.

Moore’s traditional funeral directors couldn’t have been more helpful and were on hand every step of the the way, which ensured everything was very professional but also very dignified and I would highly recommend to anyone. The funeral service for Richard Hammond on the 2nd February 2021, which I viewed on the web was very dignified and passed off without a fault. Obviously, your staff put a lot of work into the preparation of funerals and I greatly appreciated this. I was delighted that the Royal Navy Farewell Protocol was part of the service, Richard loved his time in the Navy and well earned this touching ceremony.

As the eulogy was my script, I was pleased with the Minister's presentation of it.

I was not involved in the planning of the service, so am not in a position to comment on other aspects of contact with your service.

I particularly want to commend your Assistant, Bonnie Gostage, for the way in which she managed and processed my order for a DVD copy of the service. From the day that I first contacted her to the day that I received it, she was most helpful, kindly, patient, efficient and painstaking in the manner in which she handled everything; sometimes, at no small inconvenience to herself.
In my view, one could not have a more suitable assistant as Bonnie working on the front line of the service that you provide.

I cannot recommend more highly Moore's Traditional Funeral Directors. From initial contact, through planning, order of service design and production, and then on the actual day itself, everything was carried out with the utmost professionalism and care. Nothing was too much trouble for the Havant office, who guided and advised us throughout the whole process. Above all, Moore's provided a traditional, personal and friendly service.

For anyone who is facing the loss of a loved one the overwhelming feeling is 'where do I start to plan the funeral', one that appropriately celebrates the life just ended. This wonderful team at Moores offered a hand that held us throughout. From the moment we lost our beloved Mum, we were guided gently with dignity respect and total understanding. It was as if a new friend had stepped forward and said we are here to help. Bonnie especially listened to our needs, despite dealing with many other families, gently advising and offering support. Thankyou all so much for the time, patience and professional care afforded to us and especially to Mum from the moment of first contact to when she was looked after in the care of Lesley and his colleagues, to when she was returned to us after the service. You all made us feel better at such a sad time.

Moores traditional funeral undetakers were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond for my late friend Kevin duxbury from collection, chapel visit and final departure a company I could recommend totaly. Mr les Moore and bonnie are both charming people and set me at ease completely.
Mr Tommy Robindon that was the Celebrant was excellent in his presentation for Kevin with all the research he had done on Kevin's behalf and made everybody proud to have known him.
Thank you moores a truly memorable service.

My brother died, I had no idea about funeral directors for the Portmouth area. I researched so many when somebody mentioned Moore's. From the moment I telephoned them they have acted with kindness and compassion, they have explained every detail to me and the cost was the most reasonable, with no hidden costs. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Moores traditional funeral services are a professional company that would recommend Mr Moore and his staff were outstanding in our very difficult and awkward time.
Bonnie is warm,helpful and compassionate from the first phone call.
Mr Moore the owner is an absolute gentlemen and very professional through out .
The celebrant Mr Tommy Robinson was above and beyond our expectation , his research into the deceaseds place of work , day of birth along with information we were able pass across.
Tommy read a poem that was beautifully and so fitting for the lady.
Thank you so much to you all at Moore's you made a difficult day as easy as possible for us.
