Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

If a funeral could be lovely it was. Mia read out my eulogy with feeling and conducted the service beautifully. We were happy with the music we chose and also how clear it was to hear in the chapel.

As Doris had pre planned her funeral with R E Jones, who she had previously used for other family funerals, it was really easy to make final arrangements. From the initial call to Dawn, to the day of the funeral, I felt supported and in safe hands. Colin kept me informed at each step and directed the funeral with an incredibly professional, warm and respectful approach.
The day went perfectly and the family are all truly grateful.
